Indoor Squid's Second Grow-Duurty Dragon, Diesel Ryder & MI5

Picture Update for Molly the MI5 8.5 weeks old

Hello friends of AFN. I figured I was due for a few pics of my MI5. All of the yellowing you see is just from before. Nothing has gotten any worse since I dropped the ph a couple weeks ago, just obviously going to stay yellow from the damage already done of course. Anyway..

She'll be at 9 weeks next Wednesday. I am thinking she'll go 12 probably. Any ideas guys?

She has that decent size top cola about the size of a Bic lighter. As well as six other bud sites that continue to swell some. She has had two bloom feeds that were both under half strength. The feeds in the high fives in ph seem to be doing me much better. She smells quite fruity IMO. Can't wait to smoke her. :D

Enjoy the pics guys.

Haha. Yes I am definitely hoping for more than a single gram off this one. She continues to swell so we shall see.

Looking good, buddy..as long as you see improvements, your on the right track, i always say! Great job figuring out your issues, now you can take that to the up n' comers!

Looking good Squid, Molly has some sugar on her :smokebuds:

Thanks guys. Still odd though. It's just different for everyone I guess. Because I see people running Promix at ph's anywhere from 5.5 all the way to damn near 7. Some have issues and some hardly ever have any issues at all. I think it really depends on other factors, mainly nutrients. That is what I have gathered, you gotta find the sweet spot for your nutes and that could even change within the same lineup.

For example, even if you're using the GO products like I am, there are several different combinations of what you may or may not use. Everyone doesn't use the Bio Weed and stuff like that, and I think that makes a difference. Anyways....kinda rambling just giving my outlook on what I have experienced.

I emailed GO and they were very helpful in my inquiries. They said I shouldn't have to ph my feeds if I used a feed-water-feed schedule. Although I still ph everything, I can see how that makes sense.
A nute feed at whatever ph it comes out at, even 5 and then a plain water feed about 7 ph. Keeping in mind you have a nice microherd in your mix, but that feed-water-feed would swing through the entire range quite well it seems. I told them what mix I was using and all and that's the advice I got, among some other things. Great customer service at General Hydroponics I tell ya. :D

Essentially I suppose you could still feed every time and just ph every other one higher(like the plain water feed) and that would seem about the same. I am still just rambling here. Anyone have an opinion on this?

Either way, thanks for coming by.

Squid I think you have information overload... My advice to you is find someone who is growing in a similar environment/soil/nutes and follow their lead, almost a MJ mentor.
The above post seems kind of complicated and confusing.... KISS method buddy.

Yeah I am not doing all that. haha. Just saying that's what they told me. Not really that confusing anyway. I am keeping it quite simple now and it's going good. Thanks Rob! :smokebuds:

I think you need to start experimenting Squid. I would pop a couple beans and try different things regarding nutes with both of them. Eventually you will find the sweet spot for your set up and grow a monster :D
