Sprouting in sunlight

Do I have to limit sunlight on new sprouts or are they good to bathe if they are born into it? Twenty20 genetics..sfv/tk..Bubba..biscotti if that helps

I don't shade them from sunlight outdoor @theotherone ....but I do watch them for wind exposure when they are real young.. Good Luck... :headbang:

Thanks @Mossy! We've got 5.5 of 6 started may 18 plugging away through our cold spring..planted in 5gals, in at night..1 had it's root dined on by a larvae from the compost..1 I damaged helping it out but is alive..homemade biochar hasn't been a bad idea so far fingers crossed.. second batch of 11 are in 3 beer cups each (a la dude grows with 1 split in two and no bottom to aid transplant, 1 bottomless for viewing and 1tohold it all together) and just getting their feet..opted for a jiffy mix, coco, white sand mix :)

In terms of light intensity, I just let the sprouts grow in the tent with the other plants getting full light, likely on the level of sunlight. Full exposure to the sun is how it works in nature, and I don't notice any problems.

But seemingly most growers significantly decrease light intensity for young sprouts, follow recommended DLI charts, etc. Whether that is/isn't really needed, proven or 'bro science,' whether you should put your sprouts in the shade, etc., I'll let others comment.

Thanks again community, you're providing a valuable service.
Yes, so far autos have done fine in the sun..
I'm in Nova Scotia and it was likely something hibernating in an old bag of stuff.. While I have your attention @Mossy the tap roots have already reached the bottom of beer cups! Transplant already and be happy I didn't have to haul all that soil indoors at night for a few nights at least? Or wait? They're still working on their first sets of leaves.. The weather aspect of outdoor autos makes one really tap into the farming ethos eh?..looks fine this week and my misjudgement of that root growth speed tells me I should've set them into their pots and built a cold frame..

Ethos is the wrong word.. spirit?
..weighing night Temps effects vs effects of transplant
