Spotting, necrosis, lower leaves, spreading up. Help please.

:d5: Good call on the flush Bromeo! When in doubt,...

>> Cap'n-- hammered leaves will likely croak out anyway, she'll tap them out and write them off,... the run-off being acidic is weird, but we never did get a solid pH reading from a quality pH probe,... the straight run-off was 5.5, huh? P does get pertly locked out at that pH... See what I mean about inaccurate probes? -score an Accurate 8 unit, and rest easier! ...also, pH can change with depth in soil too, since the bottom is where stuff gets concentrated,... hard to say why it got so acidic, since you fed so lightly, but the soil might be part of the problem,...

Yo. If money is a bitch test strips can be used in soil. Poke a hole with finger and rest the test strip in hole against soil till it absorbed enough water. The strip on a roll are the best for this. A chopstick and a little ingenuity and you can get accurate results.

I thought the soil might be the problem too, but after checking the 3 other plants, this one is the only one with acidic runoff. I topped with lime last watering. She is coming up on a watering soon. The other 3 just got watered on the 25. She hasn't sucked it all up yet it seems. There looks to be nute burn on her a bit on the new growth. Hard to believe with such weak nutes, but it is what it is. The other NL has a little burn on the tips too. Other than that nothing of import to mention.

Thanks, when I get a chance I'll have to give it a try.
