So got back from the long weekend about a hour ago, checked in on DBC and she was near dry after the 4L of water i flushed through the soil before i went away, am going to put another few litres through her and let her dry again as i reckon she can still be pushed a bit further, the buds have fattened up more since i went away and the sugar leaves are starting to colour up with a hint of deep purple.

Checked out in the cupboard next for the drying Orange Alien, when i opened the door my heart nearly stopped when i saw the hygrometer reading 99%, but after inspection not a sign of mold or rot on any of them as of yet even though they barely look like they have been hanging for a day in terms of dryness and still feel fresh to the touch. They are now hanging in the grow room inside a cardboard box for 10 min so far and are at 60% and falling, this method usually gets down to 30% ish RH and i use to quick dry but fingers crossed this time it saves them.

Thanks for the votes and looks like C is gonna be the final pic, not that i think is gonna make a lot of difference there is already some true gold in this months competition and i am sure lots more to come.

Will update some pics of DBC tomorrow, but have got a few root pics that i took before i left from the Orange Alien think its safe to say that the soil was pretty active ;)

Look forward to the DBC update.

I appreciate the help. Will need more along the way I'm sure. Second set of leafs starting. It's like Christmas every time I look at them.

Day 67

As mentioned yesterday Deep Blue C survived my time away if not be it a bit dry upon my return, i put another 3L of water through her yesterday afternoon which took her to runoff and then another 1L again this morning which gave a little more runoff again, reckon this will be the last flush now before harvest as she finishes maturing up, so once she drys out will see where she is at and take it from there.

Orange Aliens buds look to be drying nicely now after spending the night in the makeshift drying box with some of the thinner stems starting to crack and reckon they should be good to go in the jars after another 24hrs in the box, still staying vigilant but touch wood no mold or rot yet so looks like i might have got very lucky on that one.

You've got those bad boys dialed in! I'm going to have to give deep blue c a try.

Thanks bro, reckon you will have a great time with some Deep Blue C´s short and stocky and put out a decent amount of real potent bud for their size.

Fantastic buds. Excellent job

Cheers pal, scoped the trichs a bit earlier and there are still a few clear so they still got a lil more to give yet ;)

Fantastic growing Spanglish.
Just saw the update before this one and that soil was definitely alive. Some serious soil webbing going on, its great to see it.

Yeah i pealed off the pot and bang there it was caught me by surprise, used the same myco last time round and the soil had a slight fuzz to it, but looks like the combination of mycos and the other bennies this time round really got things rocking.
