Strain: Sour Orange Livers


Did it autoflower?: Yes, day 18-19

Soil/hydro 70% coco, 20% perlite, and 10% rice hulls. 5 gallon smart pots

Nutes: Modified Lucas Formula, 6ml micro/9ml bloom. Dropped the micro after stretch and upped bloom to 12ml/gal. Lots of calmag

Light (kind and schedule): Tasty T4 COB LED 20/4

From seed to harvest date: 75 days



Dry Yield:277 grams before sugar leaf trim so probably 250-260 g



High/Effect Duration: Starts in the head and settles into the body after about 30 minutes. Good balance. Took about 4 or 5 hits off of a joint and blast off!! A few minutes in I had trouble getting my eyes to focus on something for an extended amount of time. Got a little cottonmouth about the time it hit the body, god only knows how long I stared into the fridge with the door opened until I remembered why I was there. After an hour or so I could carry on a conversation with my wife.



RATE SCALE: (*) = bad, to (*****) = great


BAG APPEAL: ***** Frosty and pretty dense. Covered in orange pistils

THE GROWTH: ****she was as wide as she was tall, 30 inches. Main cola was only a couple inches above the numerous side branches. Fought a calmag deficiency during flower. No LST, leaf tucking, etc. She was a natural beauty. Snipped a few fans towards the end. Will grow again.

THE SMELL: *****The wife described it as "Smells like a cat pissed in a citrus grove". I think it has a little more fuel scent than cat pee. Heavy Orange scent with a nice bit of funk thrown in. Double bagger.

THE SMOKE:***** Still some time left on the cure but I am really happy. Flavor is nice, it will not let you down.

THE HIGH:***** See above, I'm enjoying it right now, a solid 2 hours.

I haven't, its on the "to grow" list. I did order some some Sour Alien Livers on Black Friday so I'm excited to start one of those

Nice review @Phreakoftheweek your plants were one of the main reasons for my SOL purchase and the sick price for 10 seeds. Also went with SAL.

That AvT is awesome man mine hasn't fully cured, but it's still good, taste, smell everything. Ya I ordered all livers except for the cheese n livers. Wish I had enough to get that one too. The sour orange, sour alien, bubbly, and sour livers should suffice. Hopefully the cheese n livers will still be around after awhile.

I think the AvT may have a bit more frostiness than the SOL. It was definitely sticky while it was growing. Good luck with all of your Livers strains

I just finished trimming up my SOL this evening. Good call on the Citrus cat piss aroma. The terpene profile on mine definitely changed several times as the plant matured.
