View media item 18957Day one Sour crack.
2x2x60 tent mars hydro
HLG 135 QB in 3000k
AC infinity exhaust 4" no filter
2x vivosun oscillating fans.
3 gal vivosun fabric pots
Organic nutes Gaia Green 4-4-4 & 2-8-4 (this is some good stuff has all the right stuff in it... well to me it does)

Soil mix 5 parts peat is as follows
parts seedling mix with perlite
2 parts compost
2 parts organic potting soil
1 part perlite
40 ml total epsom
2 tbsp per gallon lime
3 tbsp gallon 4-4-4
1 tbsp gallon 2-8-4
1\2 tbsp gallon guano grow (lost bag its like 9-3-1 or something like)

RO water and tap. (Help me decide what one to use) I ran RO on a test plant filled with half soil and half peat as i heard autos dont like hot soil but i ran into either mag or cal deficiencies or both at start of stretch. My guess is when i fed them a does of Neptunes harvest there wasnt enough buffer in the soil and the ph dropped and locked it out or my old soil mix didnt have enough lime. Im using new blend as above.

I will top dress at start of stretch with 2 tbsp gallon 50-50 mix of the Gaia Green dry blends then 3 weeks later either straight 2-8-4 or a 70%-30 percent 2-8-4 to 4-4-4 blend. That should get me through to the end.

Light is running 18\6 at 140 watts at the wall. Seedling is at 28" with a 6500 k 45 watt cfl close too it for added blue.

Temps running around 75 to 80 lights on but dropping little low during dark to 65- 68 ish.
Humidity has been running high due to this crazy spring. Highest has been 76 but now down to 60 to 55 range.

Am i missing anything?
Ill add more as we go along.

Just to double check that you know that when using ro never use just by itself.

I have learned that.... i think lol.
Im working on a blend of my high ppm tap(400-500) with ro. Looking like it will be somewhere like a 25% tap with ro.
I hope thats what you mean?
Looks like me using ro only caused my cal\mag issue but it also may have been the lack of enough ammendments in half or more of the soil in my test plant.

Let me know why i shouldnt lol.

Sour seems to be doing well. Havent had to do much over its first week. Just misted top of soil a few times pleant of moisture in the 3 gallon pot till she tells me.
This is where it gets exciting i think over the next week things will really start to happen.
Temps have been steady mid to high 70s.
Humidity has high due to our crappy Southern Ontario spring in the 70s but near steady 60 now.

Her siblings seem to have caught up. They are destined for the patio. RIGHT is a Mephiato Fugue State freebie (thanks Mephisto :thanks:) popped 3 days behind Sour crack.
Left is a freebie NLx Blueberry. The BL cross seems to have the most vigor. It was 4 days behind the sour crack.
These two are in 32oz cups waiting to go outside if it ever decides to stop raining for more then a day.

Notice lots of light leaks on the zipper of this Mars Hydro tent. Is this normal,? Will this cause issues if i decide to run photos?

Had some issues. Either overwatering or too close to the lights showing deficiency but seems to have stopped since i moved it farther away.
Not used to these LEDs that run cool. Not using water like i think it should. Maybe you guys have insight. Its stopped spreading just sitting in limbo now. Mostly upper leaves exposed to the light.
