listed in rules that all roots must be contained in cup....I want to put drain holes, (tiny ones) along bottom edge of cup...the roots are not going to go into any other medium...do I just cut them as they appear?.

If they dont natually prune them selves from exposure. Which they should. Unless its some sorta hydro set up with a reservoir

it will be a hydro..with a twist...I will post pics of set up as I get things ready...just need to set up an timer...etc..I will have a res. but cup will not be sitting in it the water...it will be auto feed via pump..hence the reason for drain holes so it can fall into storage res. ..make sense?..all roots will be contained, except a stray one lucky enough to find a pin hole....if it dont air prune..I will just rub it off

Do as you wish as long as plant and roots in same cup and the roots are in the cup.
If a pin head gets out no one is going to come after you with torches and pick axes.
Im curious to see how your doing this.
And the point is to have fun with the cups and see what we can do. Stoner ingenuity at its finest. Fair game by me.
