New Grower Soil vs hydro Questions

You wanna use the LIGHT MIX. Pretty much nuteless so you won't burn anything. No bits of "hot soil".

If u put the light mix on top with a small column down middle, then ALLMIX underneath then u can plant straight into final pot, throw some great white in

Get some biobizz light mix and some biotabs and you can't go far wrong as long as you follow the simple instructions. You are basically making a super soil and it's extremely easy to do and grow in.

Then you can also tailor the initial soil mix with your own amendments if you fancy it, to suit your growing style and requirements.

I would say soil and organics (like biotabs) is the best combination for quality of end product. You'll get better yields with most other options, but quality is top banana for me personally.
Ok I know where to get biobuzz light ether Walmart or amazon both online but not really seeing biotabs are they called something else or where would I pick them up at?

Ooh are you US based mate? Not sure if they are widely available over there yet. People always used to have issues getting them.

You tried egay?

Well the first item in the first pic is almost what you want mate. I can't see as I'm old and eyes are fooked, but does that first "kit" actually have guerrilla tabs in it or a green box of normal biotabs?

You could try the "biotabs starter kit" which will do up to 5 autos all in. AFAIK you COULD also use the guerrilla starter kit and just put more of the tabs in as the guerrilla tabs are smaller. You'd need to check that with someone else though.

Starter kit will do you well and you won't need anything else for your first try with it all. You can add Bio PK or PK Booster Tee in flowering, both good.

One aspect of soil is you won't water anywhere near as often as with coco for instance. I began with Happy Frog/Ocean Forest/Perlite, then changed to 50/50 Ocean Forest/Perlite for a long time, finally settling on coco.

If this hydro grow goes south like the last one I’m goin to try soil just wanted to get some idea what is easiest/less complicated way with soil. This time In my hydro I’ve taken every measure to make sure there is no mess ups but since I’m still really new there’s always the chance I’ll mess it up lol.
Since you're doing hydro and you probably already have your pH pen and your total dissolved solids pen, why don't you just switch over to Coco? You can grow in Coco just like soil if that's what you desire or you can do it more like hydro and get the massive yields. It's not hard at all to start.

Yes I do have those and I have been considering soil or coco just looking at my options. I mainly posted this to see if super soil was a good idea. I love the concept of not having to mess with nuits and just focus on the plant. Then I read it’s not good for autoflower so I was hoping to find something similar. But if my hydro does well I’m staying with that cause the last grow went well tell about two months in before I switched to flower I got a white/clear slim and I don’t know why and nothing I did got it to go away. So now instead to tap water I’m using distilled water and cutting out sm90 just running my GH trio and cal mag, I got a way better air pump and new air stones and tubing, plus instead of painted black 15 gallon tote with tin foil around it I have black 5 gallon buckets so trying to prevent any light. So I’ve taken a few extra steps this time.

You can get creative with your soil and still use a super soil. You just need to set your pot up so that the first soil your plant hits with its roots is mild soil and then out around the outside of your pot you have your more Super soil. It would take a little bit of experience getting it figured out, for the proper ratios but I think that would accomplish what you would like.
