Yea i did this a couple times too but i still wasn't happy with the end-product.. It just tasted like it had been tampered with  Once re hydrated i should have let it cure for few weeks maybe this would have improved things a little

Another way to rehydrate buds, use a moist paper towel in the jar with them. Same with orange peel minus the orange smell/taste. Thou next time I get some oranges I'm gonna try a small amount of buds with peels.

The only way I have been able to add any flavor has been by accident. I overdried some bud so to re-moist it, I placed it in a jar with some orange peels. It's re-moisted the bud & add a bit of smell & flavor to it

I've done this before too... I really like the flavor actually... but of course it doesnt really compare to a good curing...

Yeah I did the orange peel thing too it works but be careful with citrus peels though they can give a type of mold to the bud that exists in the peel maybe boytris not sure exactly but it can mold your bud What I have found so far to give some taste is a extract I make with glycerin and fruits...this is ok but what I tried last that worked out nice was Floral Waters..the water used to distill essential oils...but if you use try to find pure cause alot of vendors sell with alcohol or preserves inside and they dont say..(look for (msds)if buying online I make some and also buy direct from distillers but these will work if you feed some days before harvest here are some that give good flavor..Neroli(orange flower), Peppermint, Ylang Ylang, sandalwood there are some that I havent tried yet but need to like chamomile has a sweet scent and bay rum for something like diesel or something real dankish..like makin perfume not all of the distillates work good with all buds...also all of the distillates have diff ph's at least most of ya'll have ph meters if not pm me for their ph or if interested Ill try to post their ph's..from pure Floral waters..lastly you can put a piece of cotton with a drop or 2 of essential oils to help with the smell and flavor while curing but just for a short time like a week cause their strong try to let it stay at the top of the glass screw the lid with piece of the cotton in it..again some to try peppermint, davana neroli(expensive), orange, grapefruit, lemon, Bois de rose(rosewood)-maybe..,Clary Sage, ginger, rose geranium and the list goes on..make sure they are pure essential oils and not fragrance oils...all for now
