How does the diy carbon filter work? Is there any smell? And how is the air flow?

@turtle soup there is some smell during mid to late flower. I also use ona gel. So far the top two low odor strains for me are shortstuff [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] and mephisto northern cheese haze.
Airflow is good so far ive harvested four times in this setup with no issues of mold or anything.

Day 22 dark devil
Gave 16oz water with recharge and 0.15ml mammoth p.
Sprayed both plants with og

Looking good bro, I'm sending you some color karma.

I was looking at purchasing one of those speaker boxes or a pc box. Anyway I decided to build a pc box, whenever I build it I will start a thread.
Do you put the gel inside the cab? Does it leave a taste? Just wondering because smell is going to be my biggest concern.

@turtle soup thanks for the color karma! make sure you dont put ona gel in your cab. I heard it can affect taste and smell. I keep my ona gel near the door to the room about 10ft away from my cab and no negative effects that ive noticed.
I noticed you were asking arty zan about his diy carbon filter in one of his threads so i figured I would let you know i made my diy filter from his intructional thread.

I always kept my on a gel right by the exhaust on a plate on top of the light it works really well it just gets tiring having to put a spoon full on the plate everyday. The fan dries it to quickly.
Inn going to put that filter in my pc and just put the ona on my desk. Whenever I build my pc I will start a thread, you know I gotta give back to the community . it should be a real nice set up, it won't be cheap 200 USD or more, but it should be sound light and hopefully smell proof.
Thanks for the info, it really helps. I'll try it and it if fails I'll use the gel.

Watered 8oz yesterday with recharge and 0.1ml mammoth p.
Showed sex recently. Female!:smoking:
This plant might end up being too stinky. It seems like im already getting the musky/sweet/dank/hint of skunk smell on it already, that classic dank kind of smell. I will do my best to keep her though. Going to see if i can fit another one liter and start a shortstuff [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] incase i have to kill this mumbling dragon for being too stinky

Will do. Its going to be about a month before I start. I'm starting to think I went overboard with the light tho, I found a 100w cob and driver for 12 bucks on amazon, it was too hard to pass up.
Plants are looking good I hope the dragon using too stinky.
