I'm coming up to the flowering stage now and my hubbabubbas are stinking lol fine when the tent is closed but after opening it the smell is really strong then when I leave my garage the smell leaks out and im worried about neighbours having a wiff of it. Any ideas on how to tackle this?

Are you running with zero exhaust and odor control, or what? You did not mention having any tent or other exhaust fan(s), activated charcoal filters, etc.

Since the problem is outside the tent, it should be easy to use Ona or other smell-control/cover-up agent. Even simple household "air freshener" sprays (which you really don't won't to breath much) should work too on an as-needed basis -- just spray the air as you are about the leave.

Yes I have a carbon filter which works a treat but it's just after opening the tent the smell comes out and when I open my door to leave the smell follows.. I'll spray the room every time open it hopefully it will help! Thanks

Probably a rather pricey option, but could also consider adding a vent fan with odor filtration to the garage. Have it on a light switch so you can turn it on when you're getting ready to open up the tent for a little gardening time, then leave it run for a bit after if needed. Could even go so far as to use a bathroom vent style timer switch to turn it off after a while.

Edit: Just make sure to check/replace your odor filters regularly, or it could actually magnify the problem I suppose (force the smell out in a concentrated burst versus venting over time lol)

yeah bro, I know that problem all too well, sometimes the stink just sticks to ya don't it?
one thing that works for me is that Ona Gel stuff, only the fresh linen one tho, I find the others too overpowering or they just don't smell natural enough,.so, fresh linen works the best for me as its sort of a natural smell, get a 1L jar, open that jar, then your tent and your garage will still smell like you've just hung your washing out, or a laundry room... works a treat, I close the tent then close the lid.
Hasstle I know but cheapest option. Or... get a bigger tent where you can get yourself in it aswell, something else ive tried but it don't stop your clothes stinking of it, unless your uber careful or in just shorts. Get changed outside.
and yep, done that in the stinking hot summer, where the smell is even worse.
I think Green Qube are bringing out a sort of airlock attachment thing you put over your existing tent,. unzip it, get in, zip up, then unzip tent, don't know anything more about it just heard it on the 'herb vine' lol. but sounds a good idea

I use Ona Gel as well; I don't open it up in the same room as the grow, but once I leave the room I'll open up the jar outside the room for a few minutes. Seems to wipe it out pretty fast. (Bonus points: wipes out the kitty litter box as well!)

Got a brand new filter so that should be okay I do check on it! I've spent a shit load of money already so probably ona gel is my only option lol. I have odor spray but I've only just remembered I have it lol

Sorry for the confusion...I meant if you added filtered ventilation to the garage to help with the issue that you would need to check the filter regularly on it.
