Hi, all I have been been on this forum lurking for a few years. I have made a PC to grow in a few years back that has some light leaks, so being stealthy I was gonna buy a small grow tent. Thing is the pc is using the screw in led bulbs with the domes popped Off, plugged into a power strip bar. Question is would I be able to hang the power bar in a tent? I never used a tent so dont know if I could mount the power bar or not.

Yeah

Welcome Seedlingstarter! This place rocks. Glad you're here & sharing now.

Back to your question - are you concerned about electrical or structural safety?

If you're concerned about structural, the light strip could be mounted (or hang from) to a freestanding structure inside the tent. Done correctly, the real estate lost will be minuscule. Most hanging lights I see here are hanging from pull-ropes. That fits this category in one aspect. I just like adding erector set structures to my grow room, personally. It's not a tent, but it's teeny.

Sorry - I can't help with electrical safety.
Smoke on, my friend.

The type of fans that go in tents are they usually loud or silent?

If your talking about an extraction blower than yes they will make some noise depending on the speed it's on.Smaller circulating fans will also make a little noise but not too bad.

so i got a tent it 2x2x3 ft. The fan i purchased is a 100cfm and it gets pretty warm in there. Im using 74w of led screw in bulbs. I'm thinking about getting a new fan but one powerful enough to extract air through a carbon filter any ideas?

If only 3 feet tall, you'd better grow only the smallest of autos, and scrog or lst them.
The pot will take up at least 1 foot of vertical space, and plants typically shouldn't touch LEDs, which is at least another 1/2 foot of vertical distance, so there's only room for about 1.5 feet of growth at most.

You don't need much airflow for the small amount of vegetation your tent will hold, so if you're getting any air flow thru the filter, I'd consider sticking with it.

If your exhaust outtake is located at the top of the tent then you could possibly get away with your current fan blowing through or pulling from a filter mounted in th top, this is so long as you have enough passive intake as well, as in you should have at least double the area for passive intake as you have for your exhaust.

@seedlingstarter can grow any auto or photoperiod for that matter in his tent, sure short strains would help but are not necessary, main factor for keeping things small is limiting their root space thus limiting how big they can grow, now if one doesn't want to do that then as you mentioned lst, hst, cropping and the likes are your friend

Your tent is only 3ft high?

Yes my tent is only 3ft high not very tall, I didn't want anything to big it fits perfectly in my closet. Although even out of the closet it warms up the room pretty quick from the lights.
