Indoor Slater grows Healing Path

UP DATE

Just quick up date to see how they are doing and to comment on how impressed I am with them so far... Out of all the seeds I've popped in the last 10 months I would say these are the best straight out the gate... The MoB (blue cups) is showing signs of vigor and strength I've not seen for time. Thick stems standing tall in the breeze, a very good start.
The AoF/Sensi Star x CBD haze (red cups) are not as tall as the MoB with slight thinner stems but still standing proud and not falling over... the twisty crinkly leaves on some is just a little pH issue from there first feeding, nothing to worry about as you can see the new growth is fine now... That's one way to spot if your pH is off if you see that twist and crinkle to the leaves.

about 24hrs later... these lady's have got some oomph to them... now this has me thinking was it the soaking of the seeds in Urb at the start that may be giving these seedlings that extra vigor... I think genetics are playing a part as well.

What Are we feeding them...

They are on a flood and drain table flooding every 6 hrs for 5mins with the full Remo Veg line up at around an EC of 1.2 to 1.5... They will stay in here until about two week before flower, I will then transplant them to another space.

I like to use folia sprays during veg and into the first two weeks of flower... they get a spray of kelp once to twice a day..... Over Grow by Otic Folia once to twice a week (awesome stuff)... and Epsom salts once a week in veg... I use the Transport to mix in with kelp and Epsom salt, it helps with uptake... Here's a youtube vid from Optic gang about it.

My ratio's for my sprays (1ltr bottles)... For the kelp 3ml Remo's kelp and 7ml Transport... for the Epsom Salts, 7g per ltr and 7ml of Transport.

Part two...

In the mean time wile I'm waiting for the seeds to pop I can get a batch of coco ready... I like to use blocks at the moment, they fit in in with my system well... If I could I would prefer to use canna coco, this stuff can be a little fine and make a mess of my flood and drain at times but it stacks well, doesn't take up much room and come in boxes when delivered not looking suspicious...

To re hydrate the coco I use 20ltr of RO water with a dose of Remo's Magnifcal at 1ml per ltr, I also add Epsom salts at about 3g per ltr... I then leave it for 24hrs to fully soak up the water... After 24 hrs I then mix in Charge by ecothirve, I use 2ltr of charge to 70ltr of coco... I then leave this for a week or two (I've always got some mixed up for potting on)

After 24hrs in the dvd case we have some action... all 5 of the (AoF/Sensi Star) x CBD Haze auto fems have sprouted

View attachment 967162

Only 2 out of the 3 MoB have popped

View attachment 967163

I potted them up in solo cups, blue for MoB, red for the (AoF/Sensi Star) x CBD Haze cross

Since we have no show on one of the MoB's I decide to pop the last two seeds to make up the numbers

Pleased to announce a couple of days later, we all above ground... I like to leave them a week before I move them to the flood and drain table.

View attachment 967166

For that first week and their first feed I Iike to give them a dose of Biosys (1g per ltr) and Urb (1ml per ltr) to get that microbial herd up and running

View attachment 967167

After a week I move them to the veg tent and on to the mini flood and drain table

View attachment 967168

For the flood a drain I use the Remo line up ... and trying to remember to give them a Biosys feed every two weeks

Grow - 1.2ml
Micro - 1.2ml
Magnifcal - 1.2ml
Kelp - 2ml

I also like use Silcon to adjust my PH in all my rez's.. I'm adding into my feed every time so I might as well get it to do two jobs

hey Slater!, nice detailed get growing intro! So different than the way I grow, but already learning.......like how complicated this looks, hehe. Interesting strains, gonna be a fun watch

Looking great man. Pretty interested in foliar fertilisation during veg but until now was unsure of its effectiveness in cannabis. I know strawberries love it, wasn't so sure about strawberry kush haha :eyebrows:

Will give it a go when I decide to change things up

Ive noticed that twist and crinkle in my seedlings when growing in pH neutral soil mix, but mainly on finger leaves. could it be that my medium isn't slightly acid do you think? Since its neutral I haven't wanted to mess that up and possibly make a mistake with pH but I may have to lower it

P. S. Very detailed journal. I always lose track of some of the points I want to mention lol
