Good Afternoon AFN!

So im doing allot of research here looking for low-cost ways of controlling odour, I have seen a few good ways of making small carbon filters for PC fans, at the risk of loosing allot of CFM! but was wondering to myself if there were simpler ways! I've seen people mentioning scented tumble dryer sheets!(I cant see them lasting long) What's your guy's opinions? Would also be interesting to see if there are any other methods? :D

have a look/google at ONA blocks

some folks use ozone odor eliminators
but they must be vented outdoors

no the stuff from a regular store will not eliminate the odor just add a new one to the weed smell. ona is BALLER!!!!!

yah if you have a local hydro shop i suggest getting a nice 4" fan and filter combo as its not that expensive. ona works but you need to fan it some too. sorry forgot to mention that. i personally use windtunnel fans with elf filters and the filter is only like 70 bucks.

whats your over-all thought on ONA tshirt? you think it would be a big help for PC grow? yeah I'd say i will invest in one some day when i have more room to work with :booya:

When my cab was indoors, I used Ona because I couldn't use a carbon filter in that particular situation. The Ona works (and, no the supermarket/walmart/home depot stuff does not work) but I had to constantly refresh it for it to stay effective. For what Ona costs for three or four grows, you can get a pretty good carbon filter.

 Joe! when you say you had to refresh it for it to stay active? What exactly do you mean?

+1 to ONA i find the Gel to be Slightly better than the solid blocks if you have the choice

It is good stuff but it will not work miracles. I had 5 small LR2's in flower, one day they were fine. The next day, it was like somebody turned the stink up to 11. After i started using the ONA around the house the smell was passable but it was still quite strong in my bedroom.

it is a wonder that somebody does not produce a mini carbon filtration system for stealth growers.

So basically its only a temporary solution  have you seen these yet? PC Air Filter and using one of these instead? Activated Carbon Pre-Filter

I used Ona concentrate, mixed with water and "soilmoist". I dispersed it with a blower thing I made out of a 5gal bucket and a 10" fan. Every few days, you could tell there wasn't much Ona in the air and I would have to add fresh Ona to the bucket.

I see! How long would one ONA block last you?

i can vouch that i tried to make pc fan filters with little to no change. its just entirely too hard to mount and seal everything to not leak the smell. i made custom fittings and everything. by the time you waste all that time and money you might as well have bought a fan and filter.
