Should I full defoliate my 8 week old autos to allow more light to the buds at this late stage?

4x 8 week old autos 600w hps.
Worth taking off all the fan leafs at this late stage to make the most of the light and produce more yield? Though I would ask you pros. Cheers.

I agree with the "hard no."
Every solar panel on the plant can make food to feed the whole plant.
Of course, more of that leaf's food is used by plant parts closest to the leaf, so uncovering a potential cola will feed that cola better, at the expense of the food going elsewhere.
At this stage leaf tucking, and maybe some low stress training should be enough.
