Seed Bank short stuff seeds

hi all first time poster here ive been on the site a few times doin research but the forums i ussaly get on well its takin forever to get replys and bein im growing autos what better place than autoflower-forums right ? right, anyways im kinda upset about my beans first off i got a five pack of fems thinkin it would be better to have all female well two of the first three i germmed......MALE wtf , two didnt even pop and then one of my freebies didnt pop so now i got one female blue himalayn diesel and a femmed blue mistic im flat out afraid to germ now anyone else havin these problems or did i just get a bad batch? and also i know this is the wrong thread but that bhd i got has been growing for 30 days now its got pistils all over it when can i expect this to finish some say its a two month deal other say 90 days ?

Welcome to AFN, dwhizzle! Fem seeds turning male sounds like a hot soil mix to me. What medium are you growing these in?

As for your BHD, usually you're looking at 60-75 days. If you have a scope, check for cloudy trichs. Otherwise just keep an eye out for your fan leaves going yellow and crispy and/or the pistils going mostly brown.

Short stuff is a very reliable seed source and imo I don't think they would have such a bad screw up. What are your germenation techniques? Did you order your seeds from a reliable seedbank? And as agito asked, are they in breeder packaging? The image below is what your short stuff pack should look like (the big one on the left, not the two smaller ones to the right).

well thats my main problem money was tight as hell and i had to use mircle grow pottin soil but there was NO and i mean no signs of any stress what-so-ever they were a beautiful green and growing like crazy then the dreaded pods came over night and i used the same soil mix for all three and only one turned out fem so i could be wrong but i dont think hot soil is it and my plants not even budding yet its still growing the pistils n everything it looks like maybe some tiny tiny ass buds might but growing but nothin i can see to know forsure and my wonderful daugther has done somethin with my magnifying glass and i kinda felt bad for my lone fem she was the runt of the group even at day thirrty its hardly over 6 inch

yes attitude seeds was the bank they were in orginal packaging i even bought a damn cup for discret shipping idk what the problem was and idk if i can even email them and complain being how its illegal in america esp my state so would they make it right ?

Then I bet AB is on the right track suggesting the hot soil mix could have caused it. An e-mail could be helpful to them in case they got the batches mixed or something of that nature.

Sounds like your soil mix is hella hott and your ph is way off a 6inch plant after 30 days something is up. Just because the plant is lush and green doesnt mean your soil isnt hott. Alot of people have had similar problems your facing when they used miracle grow. Try going to a local hydro store to get some FoxFarms soil or if you cant do that try some sort of organic compost with no ferts.

Yeh the soil probably did it bro. I had hbd fems and too much fert = bananas if you catch my drift.. they're a lot more stable in reg form, but still the general rule applies, don't start it in hot soil. Miracle gro = nanner planet for fem seeds.
