Short Stuff Onyx sick, help please?

Steath, when you're measuring runoff are you catching the first drips out of the pot and using a pH meter? I had some similar spotting that spread quickly when I got into nute lockout due to low pH. It just seems weird that you keep having problems when all the growing conditions seem to be OK.

No! I always wait for her sit in this big tray and let the water drain through and the bottom of the grow bag kind of sits in a puddle for 5-10 minutes, then I come back and check the pH. I should have been trying to catch the first 5-10 ml of water to test?!

Damn, we may have found the problem. When testing runoff, the first water to come out is going to give you the best indication of where the soil is. The more you run through it, the more the runoff will reflect the pH of the water you're pouring in. Ideally what you want to do is run water with a known pH through soil that's completely dry. Catch the first bit of runoff and compare it to the pH of the water. If you put in 7 pH water and get a reading of 6.5 from the runoff, the soil is actually a little bit lower than that. Testing the runoff after the whole pot has drained really tells you nothing at all.

Grow bags will be a little harder than a pot with holes on the bottom. I recommend getting a clean bowl to set the bag in and then water very slowly until just a small amount of water runs through. Get the minimal amount that you need for testing and then get the bag out of the bowl so no more water gets in there.

I see. I will see what the pH of the Onyx runoff is probably tomorrow. Maybe tonight if she needs a feed, will see.

Good luck! I had all kinds of mystery issues cropping up and it took me longer than I would have liked to figure out it was pH. Thankfully I got it under control in time to save my grow. Like Muddy said, it the pH is off, nothing else you try will ever really solve the problems. That could explain why you've been chasing different issues all this time.

Fed the Onyx, gave her some BMO veg and flower nutes. pH of the first 8 mL little puddle was 6.6-6.7. I used General Hydroponics indicator and a Wardley JR pH indicator. Had barely enough run off to test using each indicator. Both saying 6.6 range.

Pictures of some more nasty leaves, this stuff spreads quick. And some of the Onyx, looks good from far away, but in person not looking good. And a picture of the Himalaya Blue Diesel that will be finally fully chopped by Friday hopefully (waiting for more amber trichs). Will that feed take care of the potassium deficiency (black dots) or is something else needed?

And Im told boron or borax eye wash fixes and stops the nasty "boron" infected leaves. Is that right? Any body ever had this gray brittle "boron" deficiency issue??

I'm not tryin to be neg or anything but IMO and this was clearly evident your onyx is Clawing, caused by too much nitrogen which in turn usally means overfeeding. Since your plant isnt lacking nutes in that way its lacking the way to intake them properly which in turn means Ph probs. What happend here is that a ph prob led you to believe a deficiency which there was but not because its lacking the nutes in the soil but being able to take them in.......I would flush that soil with phed water to balance the soil then give her a minute to recoup then slowly up her feeding just under what youve been giving her she has the eagle claw you want that to go away. If your giving her Honey ES i can tell how your leaf tips are browing just on the tips mine have done that so has WVR because of honey ES.If your not using that its too much cal/mag I think. I wouldnt feed her right now. Fix the ph evrything else should fall into place.

probs is a water drop from condensation, looking at your plants the pistols are over 90% brown so they look ready for the chop and are pulling the goodness out of the fan leafs which is natural

Still no amber :( Shes completely cloudy, only 1 or 2 amber trichomes I've seen ever on her.
