Goal, outdoor take 5 seed and see if I can do ok outdoors, even in not the best conditions. My seed will be supplied by Short Stuff.
Whatever germs will go into a bin with soil and outside.

Day 1:
5 all slightly different in size and striping selected

Day 2:
All germed or cracked! Put into rockwool to get a little seedling. Watering with distilled with tiny drop of Superthrive, rockwool was barely dusted with rooting hormone.

Hard to see but all cracked or showing root by end of day 2

Day 3:
No changes or any popping out yet.

Day 4: Hello Little One. Welcome to the world.

Day 5:
The little one shot a root clean out the rockwool so I threw it into a little pot with some seed starter mix. Others still haven't quite decided to make a run for the light yet.

Day 6:
Lil One in cup. You can see two seed heads beginning to peak out if you look closely in second pic.

Day7:
Transplanted Sprout into seedling soil mix cup. Inoculated both with Myco. The other 3 didn't make it. At sometime I damaged the taproot of two of them and one didn't split open properly to allow for root to come out. I put 2 more beans in a glass of water for a few hours then I'm going to put straight into rockwool and straight into small pot, to keep me from damaging them this time.
Pic of the 2 soon.

Day 8:
2 new beans are in rockwool in pot. I peaked in and both have shot a root, hope they look for light soon. The other two aren't growing much above, I believe they are really getting that root system going.

Day 9:
Nothing really changed

Day 11/4:
4 little seedlings, all showing true set. First 2 starting to put out second set.

Day 14/7:
WARNING UPDATE NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART-
I think they are a bit stunted or just chilling making roots. I've been giving them inconsistent lighting and temp. Between 24 and 18ish hours temps from 65-80s. They still are small quite a bit of stretching. 2 show more Sativa, and 2 show more Indica. Not much on the leaf sets making right now, kinda stopped at showing true set. *Didn't help that I threw them in the trash not to long ago and had to fish them out after several hours after a fight with my wife and felt that I needed to show her that priorities weren't with the plants, though I enjoy them. I think she got the idea, and she hoped that I could save them afterwards. I would go ahead and put them in the tub and outside, but I believe they are still too small to handle a 30 degree night. I want to see at least 3 branches or warmer weather. Pic soon

Day 24/ 17: All are about the same size and only put starting to put on a tiny 3rd set. LOL. I definitely stunted these lil ones, even though they are small up top, their roots are starting to shoot out all over the place and I will transplant tonight in FF OF , Humboldt Rain-forest, HBH? Baby Cereal, Myco, Organic Compost mix soil. After that, they go outside and let's see what happens. I baby plants so much and I feel like I've been beating these like a red-headed step child. I'll update a couple of pics tonight after transplant.
Side Note: they are in Jiffy pots and I will carefully take razor and score open bottom and sides to allow easy root penetration. I'll water with rain and garden hose un-checked. If they put out big bud, I may have kiss Stitch? (I think he breeds ShortStuff). This is a tough outdoor conditions grow test. Not Cold, not done-right, they are treated like a common everyday garden plant (in very good soil though) to see what they can do.

About 5 weeks:
They are doing great, seem to be loving the soil mix and don't seem to mind the 7.0 hose water I'm giving them. Very good growth added leaves and color. They are stretching a great bit, due to how they are covered, it is not intense light. But they are just looking so good. Update pic in the upcoming week or so.

May 2 Update:
I think I got 3 males and a Female. I think 2 show purple color in pollen sacks on top and that would make since as we've had cool weather the past couple of days. SOrry pics are a bit blurry and not very good in seeing. It's a hard to photo area.

*I will continue to keep editing my first comment for my grow updates and pics. The rest is for convo and comments. So everybody can see start to finish in the first box. Unless I become Limited to words or space.

im subbin homie.. when you say short stuff seeds.. is that the mystery sample bag with like twenty beans?

Yup, That's the one.

Quick lil Update without going back and checking dates. They are tall and lanky very healthy (no burning or light coloration, no noticeable bug or parasites). up to 4th or 5th node. not putting on branches yet.

Conditions: Cool nights, some warm and hot days, partially shaded. Now I got them more secure. Almost full sun now, hope the start branching. (thinking about using the supergrow foliar spray on them to start the branching). Holding enough moisture curently from rains and what not as to not have to water them since I put them out.

don't know i missed this one,but i did. till now.
