These days , it seems everything in the industry is geared towards producing females. That's great if your looking to produce a salable and smoke-able product. However , if one is looking to produce a strain , the male seems to be the more important counterpart.
I've often read that "The acquisition of live cannabis seeds in the USA is illegal". Due to the fact that seeds contain THC. Now, I might be stabbing in the dark here , but if pollen contains no THC it should be salable for microscopy research . Much the same as mushroom spores are.
I am surprised that no one has tried to tap a market as such.
Obviously I am a complete novice in such matters.
Questions arise in my mind such as:
1 Can pollen be kept viable , and if so , how long?
2. What steps would be taken to ensure viability and longevity?
4.Does pollen contain THC?
5. Is there already a market that I am unaware of?
6.What can one do to engender a plant to be male?
I would appreciate any input or words of advice geared toward producing seeds.
