I am in the process of setting up my first indoor grow project. I already have the Secret Jardin 120 Dark street tent (https://www.secretjardin.com/product/dark-street-120/). The plan is to use two Mars Hydro SP 3000 LEDs as lighting. I will do my first grow with one grow light and some time in the future I will get the second one.
My question is what kind of ventilation do I need? In the tent’s website they state 170m3/h (100cfm) however I think it might be too low. I have been researching ventilation calculators online but most of them do not differentiate between HPS and LED lights. So how many cfm do you think I will be needing for 2X 300W LED lights? The grow tent will be in my home office where there is an AC unit installed.

I always try to have a fan that can ventilate much more than needed. Easier on the fan not having to run full tilt just trying to keep up. Id say a good 6 inch or even 8 inch fan would do great. The filter and any ducting will cut the fans cfm rating by a fair amount. I have a 2x4 secret jardin tent and I run a 6 inch AC infinity fan. Gives me good negative pressure and plenty of air flow

i run the same size tent i would go with a 6-inch mine is a high powered 5 inch rvk fan and does the job

I have an 8in fan on my 4X4. I can run it at a speed to keep temps and humidity consistent at well below max.
Mount your drivers outside to keep heat load down and I have my fan mounted outside also with the venting going to my attic and to an eve vent of the roof. My grow room is a large walk in closet with it's own central a/c vent. I've played around with the variable speed settings and can easily stabilize everything based on if the door is shut(VERY tight sealing) or open. I can shut the door and with the a/c off, draw quite the flow from that A/C vent. During the day, the door to the room is open and I have the fan set to a lower speed and not have it affect the whole house cooling as much as with the door shut. With the door shut, I have to crank up the fan to get the same stabilization, but that affect my A/C system much more. Since I keep the same schedule as my girls:rolleyes1:, I turn the fan down after lights out and back up at first light.

2 of the SP 3000 will still throw a quite good heat load 100% cranked up even with the drivers mounted outside. You will defiantly need to increase fan speed then.

If you go bigger than needed, you can run it in a more efficient range and quickly correct any problem.
I keep the tent zipped up fully when not working in it with the 3 bottom vents open. The flow must be efficient. When I work in the tent, I can see the temps rise. I don't do anything at this point in the grow, but later on with more time needed to service my girls, I'll crank up the speed of the fan a bit.
Maybe something here will help you in your particular situation and give you ideas on how it applies to your grow.

Thanks everyone for the replies! My tent has two 160mm ducts, so one for outlet and one for inlet. Maybe i need an extra inlet duct? With my budget I think I will opt for a silent 5inch vent fan since the tent will be located in my home office. I will also probably mount the drivers externally to keep the temps down! (great tip)

Also on my 4x4 I use the vents for airtake in I'm ducting the heat out of the room and I've grown this way since 2016

In my setup unfortunately it's impossible to vent the air out of the window :(

Can't you duct it into another room that may work as I've done that before and as I've got led lights there not that hot so that helps

It's a one room building, so kinda tough. Do not really want to customize the window atm. Anyway, i will try it that way, hopefully it will be ok, otherwise i might add an inlet fan..
