Thanks for looking. I have attached a video of my grow room. 4 plants and as you can see there’s no room on the ground for heater or fan... so! I have placed one directly above and used a fan speed controller to lower the speed to just a gentle breeze... recon that’s ok??

also I have another few fans about and my exhaust is good I’m pulling out air and negative pressure is good.

BUT( this was before I put the fan above)
My humidity’s like 70/75 %?!?

is that because growing in coco the pots are moist and I have the fabric pots suspended about the drip tray so they don’t sit in the runoff I don’t Waite around and empty this every day like I used to it became to time consuming so I just leave it and do it once every few days.. will this be causing the high humidity?

also I have no space for a heater anymore,
I put a tubular heater in there but it just doesn’t do enough at night. Temp goes as low as 15/16c ... any ideas of how to get over this, I can’t hear the room outside I’m in my loft ...

Any help much appreciated thanks

Can’t upload video so taken some pics instead

hi pal and welcome to afn .you cant get lazy as i recon that is deffo not helping your RH also if your temps are going that low of a night you maybe consider running the 24/7 its something i don't but i know plenty that does . also ive never seen anyone have a fan above there plants and i also see is it a secret Jardin monkey fan that clips on your poles i use 3 of them myself also was your rh lower when you used to remove the run off

Hello mate thanks for the reply. I run 20/4 at the moment as there autos and to be fair lights are on most the night it just gets cold up there. I used to have an oil rad in the corner with the big fan isolating and humidity was around 40% then. It all changed when the plants got to big to fit any of that down on the floor. I know I haven’t seen anyone do it ever that’s why I thought I would check and see the opinions lol it seems to give a nice even blow though. I use the monkey clip fan and also have another clip on fan but I’m worried I don’t have enough or any are circulation below the canopy. My intake is down there two so there is (cold) fresh air blowing in but still. Kind of lost on what to do that’s why I ended up putting the fan on the roof haha

Not sure if this will help but I run 24/7 in the winter as the light provides heat and I have a fan above my light pushing heat down - I also will have fans in all corners and a few below the blowing air up ..... I find I have to heat the room the tent is housed in as well to help control heat and a large room humidifier is in the room as well to help lower humidity - I try to get the room the tent is housed in close and then inside the tent is much easier to handle .....

For example if air you are pulling in is too cold I would adjust that issue so as not to create another issue inside the tent .....

Hope this helps and welcome to AFN.

I have thought about that.. thing is it’s my my roof space and there’s no way I can insulate all of that and bring it to a decent temp. It’s to hot when it’s hot and to cold when it’s cold.. I tried rigging up a fan heater onto the intake ducting but it got to got and kept cutting out. I have contemplated drilling into the ceiling and putting a vent cover and pulling the air from the house but... I think the missus will kill me hahaha

I thought about some crazy shite like cutting 6 inch holes in a closet ceiling to dump air out the roof. Was immediately doghoused for even considering it. I can't advise on many topics but don't risk upsetting the old lady at all costs!

If you can get ridged foam insulation and put it around the outside of the tent? Start with the roof then the walls.
