so let me start by saying I've been seeing this throughout my entire grow but just recently it's gotten much worse. New growth looks good but I'm worried it's going to kill my plant. I just switched to my hps light and my highest temp was 81 last night so I'm going to raise my light. I recently fed her some Cali mag because I thought she maybe was experiencing a deficiency. Please give me any advice to correct the problem.

Looks like magnesium deficiency to me. Please Google "cannabis magnesium deficiency photos" to make sure that's what it looks like to you.

If so, mix some Epsom salt in warm water to dissolve it, then add cold tap water to cool it down. Spray that on the plant a couple times a week.

Good luck!

In the 1st picture I am more interested in the leaf below the one you have in focus, can you take a close up of that leaf the one that looks pretty ragged? Based on that I would say yeah a slight Mg def and as @witchyhour suggested Epsom salt should clear it right up, if the problem hasn't already slowed or stopped by using the calmag you added. Also your plants are not in danger of dying.

The bottom leaves have died I was told because of focusing on new growth. Also I haven't spilled anything on them but my fan blows on them pretty closely idk if that means anything.

Ok, so here are my 2 cents..

The fan wouldn't be the cause of the problem. Now, during flowering, the buds will feed from the lower leaves, so those leaves yellowing and dying is normal. Now, with that said, if the yellowing and dying is too spread, it probably means that they need more nutrients and are totally sucking the leaves dead. When you measure the water for nutes, what level do you get? I always keep mine between 850 and 900.

I haven't been checking ppm this entire grow :/ I probably should because my guess is that there may be something wrong with my tap water. However I do ph my water and nutes to 6.5

I check that more often than I check my ph. ;)
