Awww brother.. not a happy camper at all that girl.. it can be a challenge the solo cup!
Yeah I used to be quite impressed at what I saw all of you doing with solo cups… now I’m just flat out astonished lol… so much harder than I imagined!
I don’t think trying to figure out a new nute line at the same time helped much either. Looking back I should of trusted my judgement a bit more rather than blindly following a their schedule, might have overdone the bloom nutes early on. As with everything to do with growing, at least I learned something… I can’t grow solos lol.

Yet..... you should definitely blame it on figuring out new nutes, and try again!

I tried to drown my first solo.

Wedding Glue Solo Cup

Little lady is still under her 96w HOT5 and now getting FloraBloom added to her 2x daily feed. She is up to 600ppm, currently 26", and no
signs of slowing down.

Let's try posting this in the right place this time around :baked:

It’s been a bit since I posted on the thread. I explained the problems I ran into on my journal, but probably should have post it over here also. I had a big spider mite problem that I thought I had under control but I guess I didn’t spray the solo cup good enough because she still had mites and reintroduced them into my area. I made the ultimate decision to toss my solo cup and start over. 2 new wedding glue has since popped and will keep both girls to the end this time in stead of tossing the one I didn’t choose for the competition like I did before.
Red cup is the old girl that had the mite problem and green cups just popped morning.

I probably could have kept the old girl and treated her again, but I was mentally defeated.. After winning the war, to have them come back because of my mishap with treating the solo cup and have to retreat my entire room, I was pretty upset with myself. Feel bad thinking about it now that I actually took a minute to think about it

I can relate sweetie, I just tossed one that I just dont have the mental strength to deal with, and I will probably regret doing it!! Dont be upset with yourself...as they say: sh*t happens!!....You are not the only one who has been disapointed in yourself. Hey, I am a blonde, and yeah, I make A LOT of mistakes!! Just hang in there, and do the best you can. That is all any of us can do! BIG VIRTUAL HUGS.

XOXO, Mom

Appreciate the much needed hug, Mom! Expectations get a bit too high at times. This was my first time ever dealing with spider mites, so I'm happy I saw the damage they can do. Will push me to be proactive about them and do weekly IPM instead of being reactive. I've also been a bit lazy lately due to being exhausted from IRL but things are getting much better! As you said, Shit happens!

Wishing you and your family a wonderful holidays!!! :bighug:
