Update #5
Strain Cookies FV photo
Transplanted Cookies FV into the greenhouse Thursday, as there was a 3 day window of sun and temperatures up to 85F or 29C, down to 42F or 5.6C, inside the greenhouse.
The grow medium is a combination of locally built organic soil, composted horse manure, worm castings, perlite, and composted chicken..... uhh, you know :smoking: There's also a bit of home grown compost with some worms in it
9 x 12 plastic fantastic greenhouse. It was here when we got the place. So here we go
Ventilation is two roof vents, and the west facing doors wide open.
Circulation is one 16 inch oscillating fan, and one 20 inch turbo crazy blower fan.
The 20 inch fan sits on a table at the east side, opposite the open doors, and directs air upward. If at any time it starts to get too warm, I'll white wash paint a few panels on the roof. Or partially cover it with a white tarp.
The starting plan is to water with rain water only that gathers in rain barrels. It usually rains enough here to have rainH2O for the season.
Foliar spray of kelp tea will start on Tuesday, and depending on the response, will see if it happens again
This is my first experience growing in this greenhouse, or any greenhouse.
That'z a ring of DE, and some two year old hay, or maybe straw, it's two years old, maybe three. I don't remember. :smoking:
Keepin an eye out
