Morning, tell us more about it.
If anyone's doing an untrained BCN in a pot then you'll see soon enough.
If you keep them stressed and dont run out of root space you can stretch the veg out massively. I average 7 weeks before pistils. Even managed 8 weeks in a 3gal pot. The same strain left alone to compare with flowered in 30 days.

Hmmmm, I might give this a bash in a 5litre container! Also, is it normal to have to give calmag every watering? That question goes out to soil growers obviously. My diesel drift is a fussy bitch, the second I ease up on the calmag she starts throwing a tantrum! Fading leaves and her fussy appetite are pi**ing me off. Stroll on seedstockers.......

Why ease up if it wants it?
LED's and COB's increase a plant's need for calmag (no idea what your lighting is).

Yeah, I’m growing with cobs, I’ve noticed they want more. Why ease up? Because the larger doses of calmag push my ppm up and they need food too, y’know? By the time I get it all in I end up burning the tips. It’s only slight burn so I’m not too concerned but I’d rather it didn’t happen. Maybe alternate them?

I’m going 100% organic with soil amendments and bat shite soon. Then I can concentrate on calmag levels if need be. I think?

I have zero idea about soil.
I just reduced the amount of base feed a touch if the calmag requirements caused an issue with the plants.
Although mine was a constant battle as I had 4 strains in an RDWC system sharing the same reservoir.
Also, there are a few Nutrient Companies that do specific, individual Calcium and Magnesium feeds - not mixed.
Might also want to check your CalMag as a lot of them also contain Nitrogen. This can lead to more issues than it solves.

5 weeks veg is plenty time for me!

You's could try foliar feeding with calmag and a wetting agent, less feed should do as its getting absorbed straight through the leaves.

Ah that one, thought you had something new....
