Damn right it does mate. Been growing via proxy most of last year so had to stick to tiddlers and its been brutal.
Tried hydro at the first guys house. Spent 7 weeks building a masterpiece that nearly filled a 1.5m tent..... then couldn't get up for a month or so and by the time I got there hed mangled her with lst after me telling him to leave her alone. Turned what would've been an easy kilo into just over 400g. Absolute waste of 4 months. Basically cost me about 500 quid for 7 ounce. Could've slapped him up n down the street like. Learned my lesson though and just stuck to multiple coco tiddlers after that.
Key lesson to remember...
Your mates are idiots. Don't trust em with fek all :crying:

I wouldn't be avoiding the not so dense one, especially if you get the same as me. You will know if you get the same pheon I did, buds 3 x the size as all the others and it grows like a monster, twice the size over everything else in the same veg time... She grows big fast and yields really really well, the best in my garden and around a 8 - 9 week finisher.
This is making me go moist mate. Can't wait to get fired in. Getting/veg bloom areas set up so started dabbling with cloning. Only 1/6 survived the first attempt but was the 1 that got treated differently so I'd say it was a success. Anyway, plan is to take a mother from that and another from the ak and get perpetual for a while.
Not done many photos before but I like them. Can just leave em under 200w cmh and forget about em. Got 3 on just now and I can only imagine what size they'd be if I'd turned it upto 660,
They're huge anyway.

took me a few try's to get the cloning down when I first started. The trick is to make sure they are in a warm (24c+) moist environment (90%RH). I find the smaller the clone dome the and packing them in I get a better result... a good tip is after you dip into to cloning gel dip them into some microbes like Great White or Biosys. I get the best results and super white root when I do this.

Yer you can veg under a much lower light... as put mine into the flower space I turn my cobs to half and slowly increase to full over the week leading upto flower... in my fveg tent I run my my 120w COB fixture at about 80w... they really don't need so much in veg

Yeah I seen lots of folk clone lots of different ways so I done various things to them. Only one that worked was the smallest one, that I never trimmed the leaves on and left in another plants shadow just chucked right into coco in the groom. All the rest that were trimmed and in the light died. Lucky if it's 10*c up there half the time just now and rh about 15% so was really surprised any worked.
Got root riots en route for this though so next attempt will be in the prop box with a sheet of paper over the top to stop most of the light. Got plenty time to master it so just gonna play about with it till something sticks.
