And so it begins.
New tote for the RDWC is almost complete:

Need to add some adhesive hooks to the top for LST fixings.
I am also going to spray the top white to give it some reflection.
The bottom fixture is the drain (D'UH)
Along the top of that face is 4 holes for airstone lines, and a 19mm hole for the water feed from the reservoir.
for size comparison, its a 4x4 tent and a 5" net pot

I hear you.
My last grow was a pain in the ass.
One plant with a massive N tox, one with a bad N tox and one with calmag issues.
All 3 of these finished a lot faster than the NL and at one stage, I tried a full week with zero nutes except calmag to clear up the toxicity issues and throughout it all, the Northern Lights just purred along (although she showed a slight Nitrogen deficiency).
Seedstockers genetics are off the scale.

I like the idea of growing dwc but I would be dead carrying all that water up into the loft. I’ve opted for a cheap automatic watering system off eBay that I think I can tweak for my needs. Next stop.....fully auto growspace,lol

As for deficiency’s....yeah, my waters pretty soft. Might be lacking in micronutrients a bit at 80ppm so I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with that....

Same thing for me man, i like soil too because it seems to take a bit more hands-on maintenance. Though i may switch to coco fibre for one plant in the battle just to see the difference and possible enter if i like it, it doesn’t seem to be vastly down different from soil albeit is different ofc.

@BWM i feel you there though, when i had the critical cheese in the tent i hated opening it too long despite liking the smell, it makes me a bit anxious when it words halfway around the suburbs lol

I have a garden hose tap connected to the cold water pipe going to the tap in the bathroom sink! Keep the hose in the loft then drop it down when i need to fill the reservoirs!
Revervoirs?? Hah, two 80l bins fae B and M lol ✌✌

All this DWC talk has me wanting to setup again, my tap water ppm change from which pipe I get water from the old copper pipes over 330 ppm the new plastic pipes ar around 190-210 always and usually 4 degree warmer I found.
