Seedstockers Grower of the Year 2. Leg!

Got a few things to sort in the tent today and they'll be germing tomorrow. I think I've finally settled on playing it safe and going for the Super Skunk. I'll try a couple of the fruit cakes in a non-battle grow. Wanna try a couple next to each other to see the variations and make the most of their reported inconsistency

Thanks[emoji482] I've got a lot going on this spring. 10 comp plants if all these germ..... plus 14 non comp plants that most have germed and are living.
Then I've got 24 clones that all have lived[emoji13]and are in recovery.
As Well As the first leg SeedStockers plant and plus[emoji12]all of my first 11 outside crop plants. And 3 plants in the flower room to harvest any tim now[emoji14][emoji20][emoji482][emoji481]and I'm sick just now[emoji21]
Aaaaa!!!

Oh no! I hope you feel better soon. I am getting over a cold as well, lovely spring affliction :ill:

You sound as crazy as me with the plants, I got a 29 limit to grow so I pretty much have my tents filled plus throwing a couple outside in May/June. I'm giving the cloning machine a break for a bit but I'll be firing it up if I see something I need to keep going in the new strains I'm running.

I'll be starting seeds today, I can't keep waiting :crying: (Yes, I drove my parents nuts at Christmas). I want to see how the FC does in hydro as I see such rapid growth, I wonder if it will affect the final flowering? The Super Skunk sounds like a great choice plus I think no one else is growing that strain.

Thank you, updated and best of luck with the beans popping :smoking:

Week 1 Update

After 16 hours in a cup of water and 38 hours in wet kitchen roll closed inside an old ps4 game case we had 100% germination rate.

Nicole Cream

nicole-cream-jpg.1053933

Sticky Fingers: I must say tho I usually have 1 or maybe 2 from a larger batch sprout very quickly to have all 3 shed shells and try growing into the Kitchen roll is both very amusing and very very promising.

sticky-fingers-jpg.1053935

White Widow

white-wid-jpg.1053934

All were then placed into 3ltr plastic pots with around 2 ltrs of bio bizz all mix and placed under a 600w HPS.

seed-stockers-jpg.1053936

Next morning and all 3 of the Sticky Fingers are doing very well, I expect the rest will be through tomorrow as I can already see some soil displacement.

Seed Stockers G.O.T.Y 2nd leg - Week 1 Update

Day 7

All the girls are doing fine bar the one nicole cream, hanging on to life by a thread.
All pots have been topped up with more bio bizz all mix to support the stretch and fed more non ph'd water sitting at 6.8ph
seed-stockers-mix-jpg.1056366

Week 2 update

Day 14

Just fed as and when needed with more plain water, will be potted up into 16ltr root pouches with Gold label 60/40 as soon as my order arrives (sooner the better but latest should be monday)
The Nicole cream I operated on didn't show any signs of activity so has now been removed because the rest need the space. Back 2 are nicole cream (scraggy leaves but pulling through now) Middle left is the White widow and the Other 3 are the sticky fingers.
seedstockers-jpg.1059109

Week 3 update

Day 21

Plants were again fed only un-ph'd water when required and finally got potted up yesterday day 20 (16 Ltr root pouchs with gold label 60/40). They started showing signs of wanting more root space from day 18 and within 12 hours of being potted up started to look happy again so should not have caused too many problems. Once potted I gave each plant 2ltrs of feed containing 0.5ml of rootbastic per 20L and 5ml of canna A and B per 20L which came to an EC of 0.3. I then removed most of the big shader leaves and pinched the top to encourage the plants to bush out more.

Back right is the White widow, Front right and centre are the Nicole Cream and the remaining 3 are the sticky fingers

back 2 are nicoles cream, front right is white widow and the other 3 are the sticky fingers.

Week 6 update

Day 42

SeedStockers GOTY leg 2 Chop Pic Day 71

Some of the girls started showing early signs of foxtailing and I really like my bud nice and tight so I decided a 5 day flush was less of a risk than leaving them a few more days.

Despite my best efforts, Thin Mint Crack refuses to crack/germ. I germed all 4 seeds the same way. Only this one seeds seems to be dead from the inside.

Soaked for 24 hours, planted into seedling soil like I always do. Waited 48 hours and nothing. I digged her up gently and found she has not even cracked. Soaked another 10 hours and does not look like she'll make it.

Every other seed is doing just fine.

I just dropped another bean to germ.
