A Grove Bag special..
Problem: First true leaves developing yellow stripes , with new growth potentially showing the same.
Hi fellow growers, I hope you guys can help us out.:toke:

Medium/grow method: BioBizz Light

Feed and supplements used: Velvo Kelp at 3ml per litre mixed as a foiler spray.

Water source: Tap water filtered through a carbon/charcoal filter and dechlorinated.

Strain and age: Amsterdam Genetics Chocolate Kush

Climate: Temps 26-29 Day Night 22-24 RH 56-75%

Light used: Migro Aray at 30cm hanging height on 3/4 power

Additional info: Seedling transferred into a 16l container from the Root germination box on day 3. Medium was dampened down with 100ml of water and then the root!t added, surface misted and a humidity dome added. I use the dome until the first true leaves turn green.
Day 4, 100ml of water was added around the dome and the same for day 5 and lightly sprayed with the kelp mix.
Day 5 afternoon I noticed yellow edges starting to appear, medium looked and felt dry 2" away from the dome so another 100ml of water was added around the dome at this distance and additionally sprayed with the kelp mix.
Day 6 New growth appears to display yellow tips. no water or kelp added.

Today is day 7 and I'm unsure how to proceed with her. The pictures show the seedling after it has been sprayed with the kelp mix on day 6. The plant she is being grown with has had exactly the same treatment and is happy and healthy, pictured here at day 9 a DP Lemon Kix. There's a big difference for just 2 days. Any advice is most appreciated :smoking:

Steady Steady mate , Why did you spray kelp .
I've used the kelp Hecno on the recommendation of St. Tom, he uses it without issue, so just emulated that really. 3ml of Remo Velvo per 1litre of water and lightly misted twice daily. Do you think maybe it's burning this girl? the Lemon Kix next door has had the same treatment and is thriving big time but that's different gentics :smoking:

Some strains are sensitive to any added nutes until they are two to three weeks old so just go plain water for awhile.

Thanks guys, i'll feed her just plain water, no kelp and hopefully she'll bounce back. Lessons learnt, what's good for one strain might not necessarily be good for another. It's all part of the learning :smoking:

Here she is 4 days later, day 11.

I think we should hopefully be ok, all the new growth is nice and green, with steady growth. :smoking:

I'm back and I think I either have issues or this is damage from the previous round of trauma. Any help on how to resolve this potential issue is very much appreciated @Mañ'O'Green @namvet25 :toke: All she has had since the last post is plan water (No kelp spray) that has been filtered 50/50 with tap water which has then been dechlorinated naturally. The light is at 30cm on full power.

I didn't notice this yesterday but it could have just started so it has been there at least 24hrs since this was my last visit to the garden. :smoking: She's onDay 15 today above soil and I have now moved the light up to 34cm.

new growth looks fine. when do you do your folier spray? i notice beads of water on your plants. spraying is done when lights are out, sometimes the droplets of water act like lenses and can burn the plant. only thing i can think of. looks like cal/mag problem, but too early for that plant to need any. :toke:
