This Black D.O.G seedling is growing in coco-hemyp buckets under a single 3500 k autocob. The twsting of the leaves I was thinking was due to too much water... it's been 5 days since last watering and coco is still moist. But just read that it could also be Ca def... i think both are possible causes for the twist... what do you think?

last fertigation 5 days ago with megacrop v1 at 0.45 EC (0.25 ec of mc + 0.1 ec of calmag + 0.1 ec from tap water) at 5.8 pH.

Tmps: max 74 F, min 65 F. / 24 C max, min 18 C
RH: 50-70%

How far is your light from the plant? What is your temp in your grow area?

Have you add anything else except water?

Looks like "early seedling jitters syndrome" ^_^

It's still feeding from its cotyledons (lil leafs) so there's no defs to see yet.
The PH is on point. The temps look good.

Little twists and wrinkles happen quite a bit to seedlings. I've had many and they always work themselves out of it.

I agree!
I personally wouldn't be worried at this point!

Hope this 2 cents helps!

Same here, had it happen also many times and never anything bad came out of this , and also, a bit of overwatering might choke up the respiration at the roots which in turn makes the reaction on some of the leaves, but if it doesn't seem to slow down the growth with no yellowing or signs of her been affected, then it's alright. , hey , what doesn't kill you makes you stronger , that Sour diesel on this pic had it happen and look at her ...

thanks! i'm not really worried...but curious. this started happening to me after switching to 100% coco which i try to keep moist as much as possible, so i always assumed this was due to overwatering... but I recently read that it could be the onset of a Ca def which i find interesting, so wanted to see what others thought.

in hopes of adding more oxygen to the roots and as a bonus adding the possible missing CaI, I just fertigated the seedling with same EC as 6 days ago, but pH at 6.0. Runoff last time was 200 ppm (hannah), today was 194...

will update any changes i see. thanks again!
