Seed to harvest times?

I understand that the seed to harvest times advertised by breeders are just guides. But are they anywhere near realistic?

The two Nirvana AF strains (white widow and blue mystic) I am currently growing have advertised seed to harvest times of 9 to 12 weeks; however, my plants are both approximately 16-17 weeks old and still have cloudy trichomes (just a few ambers).

May plants are grown in soil, nuts and are each under there own Spider Farmer 1000 quant board on a 18/6 schedule. Temp ranges from 68-72 and humidity 50-60. Also, I have NOT done topping, cropping or training of any kind.

I keep reading how fast AFs grow, but mine are taking forever. What is your average grow time for AFs? Is there anything I could have done that would have slowed there growth?

Congrats on your first AF grow! Most autoflowers finish within 80days, and many under 70.
Your temps are too low if consistently 68-70f. Most prefer temps 75-80. RH is fine until late flower, which should be under 50.

Some auto’s trichs just don’t go amber (or noticeably amber) so they may well be ready now. Why not snip off a bud, dry it, smoke it and see how it feels?
