The seed popped soil on 9/9/2021. The breeder said 10 to 11 weeks from seed popping soil to harvest. I stressed her out a bit and she is just now starting to mature. I still have a little clear trichs and the rest are milky (calax only) There are amber on the sugar leaves which is normal. The flower looks like it has done it's swelling and has stopped . I don't really see anymore white hairs popping out maybe 2 or three per flower. Has anyone gone this long and was it worth it? A grower in Washington has been helping me out with my nutrients and watering. So far he knows his stuff. It really helps when you can talk with somebody on the phone and also facetime. It is a lot harder to figure out in emails lol. for me anyway.
When I harvest this I am going to run some good genetics by Mephisto (double grape) first time with mephisto. I am also going to run with that some Autoflower
original Glue by nirvana. I am not so pleased with Nirvana's autos. So far I am not a 100% happy with Nirvanas Autoflowers. IMO.
Also has anyone tried TPS nutrients? So far, I am not a pro on this, I have had great success with this grow compared to last grow . Their customer service is run by farmers. They have helped me so so much. I have learned a lot from these people.
To finish the current grow here are my stats for the tent:
RH 50% was at 60% last week.
temp. 85 F day and 77F night. was 85F the whole time reduced it last week.
2 spf 1000
3 fans and one exaust fan
4x4x78 tent
10 gal fab pot. (too big This is where I messed up) lol should be a 3 or 5 gallon. I had to try it lol

Thanks for taking the time to read

Looking good. So is this plant like 110 days old roughly? I have not grown any of Nirvana's genetics but have had slower auto's before. Pot size can effect the plants expected life cycle. I have run the same strain in a 1 gallon and had it finish in around 60 days from seed to harvest and the exact same strain take over 80 to 90 days in a 7 gallon pot. The pot size from all of my gathered info does effect the life cycle of the auto's quite a bit. Stress on the plant can also have a big impact on the expected life cycle.

Do you plan on filling the 4x4 in the next round? I would suggest getting more light if you only have the 2-1000 (200 watts). I run 500 watts in my 2x4's with 2-1000 watt vivosun LED lights and 1-SP3000 mars hydro light. Mars suggest that the SP3000 can cover a 2x4 and it probably could do OK but with all of my gathered info 500 watts is a perfect amount of light for a 2x4 for obtaining maximum yields obviously just my opinion though.
If this is only your second grow with auto's I would say you are doing great.... Nice work bud!

Hi @Jean-O do you ignore PPFD and just bombard the tent with light?
cherrs TangieD
I pay no attention to PPFD. I don't start out at 100% power and up the intensity as the plants can handle it. I read the plants and take note to how they react and adjust settings as needed. Im an old school grower and never got into any of the hype behind reading instruments or gadgets I just let 23 years of growing lead the way! Light intensity and what a plant can handle is strain dependent obviously. I haven't met a light that is as intense as the sun yet, and never had any issues with too much light outdoors! Measuring PPFD is a good starting point I guess if you are not familiar with your strains but its all Hypothetical learning to read the plants is by far the best way to measure what they can handle. I also journal and have good documentation that shows how adding the extra light has increased plant size and yield so I guess trial by fire is my method. There is a ton that goes into how the plants react to light intensity, RH, temps, CO2 levels all play a role in how much light a plant can handle on top of genetics.
