I'm going to store some seeds in small labeled ziplocks inside of a pill bottle with 1 bead of desiccant per bean and put the whole works inside a canning jar inside the fridge. I'm worried about rh levels. Am I overthinking this?

Okay, where do you get those tubes? Also, not to be obstinate, isn't the rice thing somewhat of a urban legend? 4 years is a mark of success though. I live in a area with year round warmth and high humidity. It's a constant battle.
If you search "sample tubes" on amazon it brings up different tubes you can use to store seeds.
Im pretty sure rice has been proven to act as a dessicant. You can also buy a bag of dessicant packets on amazon.

I work at a desiccant factory so I have access to silica gel and molecular sieve for moisture control so I can store my seeds without worry of moisture. I throw 2-5 beads of the molecular sieve in each small vial with 1-5 seeds in each vial. Been doing it for a few months now and haven't had any problems with moisture so far and all the seeds are viable still (hopefully). I also have acces to as much activated carbon I need when I replace my carbon filter. I bring home packets of the stuff and cut them open and use the desiccant outside the packet.
