If they are loose I put them in a paper envelope and put the envelope in an airtight container with a little jasmine rice to absorb moisture and put them in the fridge down in the crisper drawer. Don't know how long they keep. They say at least 1 year but also 3 years. By then they will be antiques. You will just buy a jar of pellets or something add water only and grow in a vase.

Multiple levels of storage is a great option. Sealed plastic vials, inside of small, sealed hobby bags, inside of airtight tins, inside something that snaps together and locks, in the fridge. You can easily keep your genetics viable for 5 to ten years this way. Currently workin with genetics that had been stored anywhere from two, to seven years in the case of this Boss Hogg.
