If i had the funds it would be all 3000k but I got spares to use up. I am interested to see how the mix of spectrum effects the grow. Its mainly going to be flower tent I've got a veg tent

that's weird did type those xyz with that spacing....the 4000 and the other 3000 are meant to be in the center of the others.

Mixed spectrum is where the magic is, a lot the of the big growers in the States like the Jungle Boys use an array of different lights.
The dream team in my room will be a GN Telos which has a mix of 3000k 4000k and 660nm and a Philips CDM with the agro spectrum. I work in a hydro store and customers are blown away with the CDMs. The Gavita plasma is a killer suplimental light too but carries a hefty price tag.

I've done mixed spectrum on another light I've built with red,far red, uv and blue. And so far seeing great results, its given the citizens that bit more oomph. Still might pimp this light with hem but that may have to wait for funds.

Yeah red is always going to be the main colour to use due to it carrying more photons but the short wavelengths of the blues carry more energy so will penetrate the canopy better.

is there much of a mix in phenos between the same strains or are they pretty consistant from what you have seen
