I started to germinate 3 days ago . 4 seeds and placed each one in a Rapid Rooter then in a germination dome. Within 48 hours 3 of 4 have opened and are going great. 4th still appears to not change. From what I can see of it in the Rapid Rooter. My question is how long should I give it till I give up on it? I really wanted to do 4 plants this time. I have more seeds and would like to germinate another asap if this one is a dud. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated!

That's up to you but if a seed is 2 or 3 days behind I toss it and would start a new one.

Thanks Joe. Thats what I was thinking. I already started a new one. I have room for another plant if the seed in question happens to come to life in the next few days.

Sounds about right. If you get two that root !!! Well you can choose the best one. I know they cost a lot but, it would be a shame to waste tent space.

I have let seeds set as long as a week past the others in hope but I have never had a seed sprout a week late. This is one of the good things about making your own seeds if you ever get in to it. It hurts a little less when you have 200 more seeds and did not pay $10 each for them.
