New Grower Second Timer - DP Auto Night Queen In DWC

Could be that you got the SB rocket fuel pheno. She tasted harsher at first, but smoothed out big time. Should be fun along the way!

I like her already! Knowing she gets better is the icing, man! Thanks!

With ANQ all phenos get better with the cure.

You will see as you go through growing other strains, she is a special one.

But there are so many good ones you must grow. You have a great one on deck.

Like I said, GSC, Blueberry Auto, PineApple Express, Skunk [HASHTAG]#11[/HASHTAG] or [HASHTAG]#7[/HASHTAG], Green Crack or Sour Crack, are all top level bud, and at some point they must be grown by us all.

Maui Waui, Acapulco Gold, and Northern Lights are also super throw back strains that I still grow now. Outdoor is usually where mynthrowback strains are grown, but I may do a throwback run next Spring.

Enjoy the variety this hobby offers. You are off to one hell of a start!! Way to go on this one,...can you say Glueberry OG anyone??! Should be fun too. Wait until you see how much resin they produce. Triple from ANQ, and total Berry flavored diesel fuel dope. Yummy stuff as well.

Once again. Off you go now!
I have a little break. I am off to Mauritius for a week and then I will return refreshed and ready to hit another grow season. A little golf and sun will do me good, plus, as I can't take anything with me, it acts like a little detox for my system. Just a shame to not be able to spark one up on that lovely beach outside my hotel room. Oh well, I can't complain.

See you on the flip side...

Hey, Med, enjoy your vacation, man! Just imagine how potent that weed will be when you return. Take it easy with the first splif!

Thanks for the strain tips, I have a lot of them on my list now with Blueberry and GSC already in my seed bank! Plus I have a bunch of Mephisto strains that I would like to try! Don't know about the full sativa options, though. I could never totally enjoy that kind of high, but as a hybrid, I love the effect!

I am glad to hear the Glueberry is frontier than the ANQ, as this is the one thing, I was a little surprised about. Queen 1 appears to have a light layer of frost. And Queen 2 quite a bit more, but not close to the Gorilla Glue I grew. I think the GG in Glueberry may have impacted the frost levels!

That is also one reason I want to try a Mephisto strain sooner than later. They are usually small, but rarely do I see a well grown one without a lot of snow. I don't think I will have to worry about always having some premium bud after my Glueberry grow, so I can try some smaller but tasty strains like Mephisto and Blueberry. Fun times ahead for sure. But for right now..

Its Glueberry Time!

It's not just frost I am talking about, but the resin and oils that fill up those trichomes. Glueberry is extra sticky. I actually have problems with mold on almost every run. I ran her three times actually, but had problems twice. Just so moist those nugs were. The best we're grown in dwc under hps. I think the led and UV lights you have are giving a good spectrumand have high hopes for you.

I will definitely have to take it easy when I get back. Actually looking forward to a little pause, and the surroundings will help ease any anxiety I might have.

A couple more glasses of good wine will smooth that over quickly.

Catch up with you soon. Drop those beans!

This is kind of a challenging smoke report to write because when I can smoke weed, I had been smoking both phenos, interchangeably. So, of course, I was inclined to say that they effect me similarly. So, I decided to smoke one exclusively, and then the other the next day.

This is the one we decided was the strawberry milkshake pheno of ANQ. She yielded 221 grams, and maintained a purple hue through the cure. She didn't seem frosty, so I was worried about the potency. This strain proved to me that looks can be deceiving. She is filled with resin and terpenes, and is strong, she maintains a creamy berry taste, and burns smooth. No cough even straight from a pipe.

She melts any stress away within the first few minutes, and then I am in a chill relaxed mood. If I smoke at night, it puts me to bed, and keeps me sleeping through most of the night, something I have trouble with sometimes. I really like this girl.

This girl surprised me also. She was a late bloomer, but made a late run where the buds stacked and grew to catch up with her sister on the end. She is my favorite. Still a lighter green and more dense than her sister. Her jars emit a strong strawberry/passion fruit smell that is just wonderful. She tastes like she would smell. A bit more of a hybrid effect than her sister. She gives a happy, smiling, but relaxed high. I am functional when I use her, but if I smoke too much, I am locked on the couch. Perfect for rainy days with a good movie.

This was a fun grow. And very rewarding, I will have some good bud in the jars for a while. That is what it is all about. Thanks to all for following this long ass journal! I appreciate your support and advice, as it made me a better grower!

Watch for my GP Glueberry OG journal.

They both sound luscious. ANQ is definitely getting added to the list of must-grow strains. Tag me in your new grow!

I think everyone should try this strain! It's Iriee recommended!

They sound super tastey! I hope to get on your level in terms of yeild with lst wish I would have done it to all of them.
