Good god those buds are HUGE! I can really tell the size of them in that pic!

I’ve been having mold nightmares. Every once a n a while, I think I’m home free on this grow, that everything that could go wrong would’ve gone wrong by now. That I can sit on my ass trichomes-gazing and my head in the stars—and then I think ... MOLD.

Then I break a little bud off GG for testing and I feel better. Looks like the worst is over for that high humidity spell. At this rate you’ll be harvesting your queens before I give GG the chop and I’m BITTER Irie OK!!??

Haha! Thanks DG! There is a chance I just chop them both this weekend. If I see amber, that’s it. No more bud rot nightmares for me! Your Gg looks like she can come down at any point now too! I wouldn’t be at all surprised if I signed on here and see that you harvested!

I just want to thank my AFN support team. I appreciate your good Karma and vibes! I came home to see that both plants are doing great. The buds packed on so much weight over the five days I was away! And no signs of bud rot! They seems to have thrived! I should never have doubted these Queens!

Queen 2's colas have filled out nicely! And both plants look ready. Both are all cloudy now. I think I am going to start a flush tomorrow for 48 hours and take half of both plants on Monday. Then I will pump back up the Overdrive and go for some amber with the rest. However, if I see amber tomorrow in th epoants, I will flush and harvest them both on Monday.

I had a cola from each plant drying in a paper bag all week. I opened the bag to just the sweetest berry smell. Queen 1's cola weighed in at 8 grams dry, and Queen 2 weighs 7 grams. I am noting this to add to my final weight. I jarred them up for a little cure before tasting the Queens. Probably will take a taste this weekend.

I’m hoping you find some amber tomorrow, so you can flush and harvest at the same time. Are you planning to introduce a dark period and the chiller?

Haha! I think I am going to buy some bubble bags and make some hash. I still have the fresh frozen from my first harvest too, so I should have a nice hash stash after this harvest!

Thanks DG! Looking forward to that smoke, but figured I would jar them far a bit first. I will only use the chiller and darkness on the final harvest. It would be too much for the plant to recover from, as that is extreme shocking. However, if I see amber then this weekend will be the final harvest and I will chill them in the dark with flawless finish. Part of me really wants that to happen, so I can hang some colas to dry in the cabinet.

I am going to need a lot more paper bags otherwise. These are some amazing plants for sure! Doubt I will have any like this again.
