New Grower Second Timer - DP Auto Night Queen In DWC

Ha ha, you two sound like you are hatching an evil plot!

Dang it, for the first time I wish I had a chiller!

Lol! Always willing to tweak the plan, if it makes sense, and Auto logic about reducing light at then end of life does make sense.

Hold on to your credit card for the chiller, DG! I am sure you don't need one with your environment and hydroguard.

You can do the same thing by adding a bunch of ice cubes (lots of them) in the water at the end.

Thanks brother! Did it even think about that! Will watch the lights when time to harvest.

Yeah, I know folks debate about flushing, but I will always do it now. It produced clean white ash, and had very specific strain specific flavors after the cure. Don't know if I would have gotten that without the flush, but I don't care.

Lol I like the sounds off it.... it’s defently a plan

Just use ice water .... not too much...in plant pots..as plants start taking up less water towards harvest.. in dwc plants cannot be drowned becuse of the air stones... benefits of dwc system...

It’s widely argued that late stages of a cannabis plant’s bloom cycle, keeping temperatures low will trigger an increase in resin production. When harvesting, it’s also important to maintain a consistently cool temperature. Much progress can be lost if high levels of heat enters the equation at any stage in the growing, harvesting, and curing process.

An easy way to tell if heat if affecting your crop is to give them a good sniff. Disturbed trichome heads and those exposed to heat will give off pungent aromas. That delicious smell is nothing more than the degradation of trichomes as a result of heat and/or agitation of some kind.

I found this information on leafy.... sounds about right lol
