Hi all
Long time lurker and reader. Over a year ago Seymour inspired me to do my first grow but unfortunately I could only do one grow. It was relatively successful but by no means anything to start bragging about.
Anyway a month into DP Auto Mazar and I think a Super Atomic of some type seed got mixed up but I know what one the Mazar is.
Family Shot...
Far left is Super Auto - mystery tiddler in the middle - Auto Mazar on the right.
Equipment used:
LED: 2 x Progrow 260 - 3 watt chips
Air: 60 liters per minute
Nutes:
Rhizotonic
Canna Aqua Vega and Flores
Liquid Silicon
Carboload
PK 13/14
Calmag
Formulex
So we're about a month or so since I seated them in the buckets. I gave them 50ml Rhizo, and about 60ml Formulex. So they have had two buckets of this so far. It's been about two weeks since the last change due to circumstance and not having instant access to them but more on that later.
Auto Mazar
So the buckets were pretty scummy when I change them today and I am hoping that will explain whats happening on some of the leafs... here's the pics
So today instead of Formulex + Rhizo, I put in:
13.5ml of Canna Vega A
13.5ml of Canna Vega B
50ml Rhizotonic
4ml Growth Technology Liquid Silicon
2ml Calmag
5ml Advanced Nutrients Carboload
Ph 5.8 EC 0.7
(EC read 0.8 but it comes out of the tap at 0.1 so.... don't know if that counts)
Deficiency
So unlike last time I grew (with no major problems) this time I don't have access to them everyday. Basically it's not in my house. Here are some photos of what is happening to the poor neglected Auto Mazars.
Can anyone diagnose this? Im putting it down to a few factors. Firstly the buckets were left far too long,
Ph went down from 5.9 - 5.5 and EC remained at 0.8 over the two weeks.
Secondly, As she grew she has been left on baby food for two weeks.... and thirdly, salt buildup or other scum that started to build up.
Super Automatic
Might not actually be this strain. Someone mixed them up as seedlings so it could be one of three other strains chucked in. This is a bit of a test grow to see is the arrangement works and apart from the Auto Mazar left over from my first grow the other three were just to test the water so to speak....
Kind of long and lanky this one. It had the same as the AutoMazar. Couple of 50ml Rhizo and 60ml Formulex up until now. And looks healthy despite it's stretchy appearance. No marks on the leafs for this one.
I fed her...
50ml Rhizo
and took her up to EC 1.2 with Formulex and kicked in 4-5ml of Silicon for good measure.
(to be on the safe side)
Questions
Ok I fully accept I am not a good farmer I have everything to learn and have read a lot of journals but practical knowledge is lacking. If anyone has read through this can they give me any advice? I am fully expecting good farmers to be thinking what the hell is going on with this grow!
Anyway specifically....
Auto Mazar feed detailed above.... does that seem about right?
Im just trying to adapt Seymours grows and do kind of what he done.
Is the deficiency going to get worse or can the plant recover?
Does the Auto Mazar look like a girl?
With the nutes I listed above.... what sort of buckets would you be making up? They are 20 litre buckets and only have about 16 litres of water in them.
Any other advice?
Notes
Temperatures are a lot hotter than my first setup. Minimum is fine but they have reached 90 at one point in the grow.... high 70's would be about average with the lights on.
And just for giggles.... here's the tiddler her stem snapped and id just pull her out and not waste air/nutes/space which will probably happen next week, only reason she is still there is im worried about killing the other two... she will be like a little tes project, perhaps, if it's worth it and the others die.....

Ach... pictures are too small and don't load up bigger when clicked on them.... ill try to sort that.
