I wasn't going to document this grow because it has been really bad, but what the hell... This is my Grape Muerto, day 56.

I got another Mars-Hydro about a week ago, the 96x3. Plant seems to like it!!

Looks like some tasty bud.especially as you can pick it just when you like it![emoji2]

She is looking about ready to me. Think I'll give her a couple more days. The yield will be very small but I'm anxious to try this strain as it has a higher CBD content than most. This plant has survived quite a lot of abuse in her 69 days! Her buds are super compact and sticky!

Pretty, huh?

So I have had zero success with two TD's and three Auto Durban Poisons. Geesh.

Looks ok to me MJ.

Thanks TaNg! It produced something - for that I am very grateful! Especially after every dumb thing I did! I have been unsuccessful with three AutoDurban Poisons and two Think Different's. Pisses me off!

Anyway I have some Mephisto beans coming and I've been reading through your journals - and a couple of others that are growing those. Your grows are all amazing! I think (one of the) the problem(s) may be my soil. I found a hydro shop nearby and I think I will try the BioBizz light. I upgraded my tent, my lights, my airflow, got a soil PH meter, etc...Crap this whole growing thing was supposed to save me money. Ha! Now I just have an expensive, time-consuming new hobby!
:crying:.

It's only the initial set up Jane. Well unless you always need the latest kit! And growing is more fun than smoking! Well almost, in tandem it's bliss. Then there is quality your grape Muerto looks scrummy. And you can pick and store it just right. Anyway always a joy to delight in the fruits of ones labour.[emoji6]

Can you explain your grow environment for day 1 to 14?
PH, humidity, temps and lights?
Also any nutes and type coco?

Getting the first few weeks right is so important with autos and there is no time for catchup later.

Your Grape Muerto looks OK and is on par with many growing here. There are growers that produce 3 times the results but they have everything dialed in for a maximum yield.

The seedlings however have grown very little in 2 weeks and that is a sign of an incorrect environment, that is why my questions above. Growing autos is all about repeating a proven formula of what to do and when.

Many here will be happy to get you on track.

Growing is fun! Except when you do stupid stuff and ruin weeks of labor.... The grape Muerto is sooooo good!! OMGosh, seriously tasty! And yes, it is a delight to enjoy the fruits! :)

Dingo,

Thanks so much for stopping by!

I already tossed the seedling. It didn't grow and turned yellow on me. It never even fully shed the seed casing. I had it in organic soil - nute free. The PH was between 6.5 - 6.8. Humidity was high - 60% or greater. Temps were 77 - 88 degrees.

It was in the same tent as my Grape Muerto, but I shielded it from the light until it broke the soil. It didn't break the soil until 11 days after I planted her (I did not soak the seed). I almost gave up but I found the seed and saw a tiny root, so I covered her back up. A couple of days later she broke the surface but she never grew much and started yellowing pretty quickly.

I had two 45w CFL's over it for the first 10 days, then just removed the shield and let the LED (Mars-Hydro 96X3) shine on it from about 30" away.

Any thoughts are much appreciated! I have new beans coming and don't want to go through this again!

Peace,

Jane
