New Grower Second go at Low Ryder #2 DWC

Not sure what happened. I was careful to keep it nice and swampy (RH in the tent was already 40-50% plus I had the seedling covered for a week). I imagine the pH was about 6.5, since it was straight distilled water. I put some nutes in a few days ago, and adjusted the pH to 5.7. I am not sure if pH matters if its just pure water, since the plant doesn't have any nutes to take up anyway.

Still pretty disappointing. The last one from this batch of seed netted 100 g dry. and I mean REALLY dry. Giving the last two beans to my sister, since that's the only strain she wants to grow.
I suspect it might have been the elevated temps in the tent. Hovering right around 90F. I am going to have to get an window a/c unit for this room to keep it closer to 80. Doubt i'll be able to get it much below that without keeping the room about 65, and thats a bit cool for me.

i wonder could it be that dampning off thing ? i dont know much about it or what it looks like, from what i gather it only effects seedlings they just fall over and die.a sprinkling of cinnamon powder ontop of soil is meant to help.but that could just be an old wives tale.

worst case scenario, it will smell good :)

In cleaning the tank for the new grow, looks like the culprit was root rot. This is totally on me. I should have cleaned the tank after the Diesel died shortly after germinating.

Ah well, I'll start the new journal once the new seed pops.
