I wish it were sooner, but I am NOT cutting this one before it is ready.
I want it to be as potent as it can be.
I have noticed the buds are sort of tipping or leaning a bit.
At first I thought they were all leaning towards the center of the LED , but a couple of them are leaning on other directions, so I am thinking it must be weight or a combination of leaning towards the light & weight.

Pic Update. Day 98
8 weeks of flower almost over
I finally was able to pick up the loupe I bought several weeks ago, but that didn't make it into my bag.
30x with led lights. It is nice. Crazy little world that close up.
Trichs are definitely all still clear.
Sometimes I think she isn't really doing much, but if I do a slideshow of the pics, I can see a big difference every 10 days.

14.5 weeks
Well into 9th week of flower. Whew! Downhill stretch!
I will definitely make sure I have plenty of meds before I do a photo again! PLENTY!
But I am REALLY glad for the serendipitous occurrence the photo seed happened to be.
Growing it got my confidence up and I think my next attempt with autos will not be so disastrous.
It gave me time to really watch a lot of things and have some growing principals really drummed into my brain.
I am loving the smell of this plant, it has gone from skunk stanky to very flowery citrusy pleasant.
It will be nice to see how it smokes, properly flushed & cured.

I have a question that has probably asked & answered a thousand times.
When I was smoking one of the little buds I snipped from it, I heard a pop,
So when i dumped the ash out I looked and there was a seed. and I found another in that same little bud
This plant has never had a male bloom anywhere near it. All the auto males that spouted in box were killed before they even had a chance to come close to flowering.
No insects in the grow box that I have seen. I know there are a few growers within 3 blocks of me as I have smelled their grow when walking past their houses, plus they leave tons of obvious (to those who know) grow trash around.
Do some females produce seed without ever having been around a male or did I somewhere somehow get some male cannabis pollen on me and transfer it?
I am not really worried, just curious.

I occasionally come across a stray seed and I don't usually have any males around, nor do I think any are grown nearby. I chalk it up to a nanner that I didn't catch at some point during the grow. Either the strain or the environment could cause some stress that would cause some minor hermie flowers. Sometimes it's just too hard to check every bud with the detail needed to find them.

I kept a pretty close eye on this plant, but for sure the old eyes aren't as good as they used to be, so it is possible a little "cannaboy" flower emerged that I didn't notice.
Could be the strain, I know with certainty that this plant came from a seed that was from a plant that was a third or fourth generation clone that had never had any males in its vicinity.
Like I said, I was more curious than anything.
In my experience with animal husbandry, things that put out as much potential progeny as cannabis does tend to have very diverse genetic strategies for successful continuation of the species. Mutation is a pretty common occurrence. Most mutations don't survive as they do nothing to strengthen the species.
I can see a plant that is subject to heavy grazing as cannabis is in the wild would develop to throw out an occasional male flower in a female to insure continuation.
