New Grower Sanguine's perpetual auto grow

The nugs look sweet on your HBSS it's sure to be a lovely smoke. And your SODK is going to take off very nicely any day now

@Bunny cheers mate, the hbss is smelling better every day, or maybe my colds just clearing up :haha:

right guys ive got a mate whos just started growing and im trying to help him out until he picks it up, hes using a Wilma 4 pot system with clay pebbles and flora grow bloom and micro, I don't know anything about hydro but I tried to make him a schedule for autos, hes got 2 cheese xxl dinafems and 2 sour blues mephistos.

so I just took gh's schedule which is in us gallons and divided by 3.79 and multiplied by 10 so he could mix 10 litres at a time,
first week I went 1/8 strength next week 1/4 3rd week 1/3 and then half strength rest of the way

and heres how they generally look now

they're older than they look maybe 17 days or so, they were left on a windowsill and stretched to about 6 inches each before they went into the system and a proper light.

so finally to the point! the deficiency, so because its on newer growth im thinking magnesium def.
I thought at first he wouldn't need a cal mag supplement because of the micro, but the ratio is 7% calcium and something like 0.07% mag.
so would a simple fix be to also add some plant magic magnecal to the res, just looking some second opinions as I would feel really bad if they all turned bad on him,
thanks anyone who feels like chipping in

HI Sanguine the feeding chart looks a little on the weeks side. Id do it a little stronger and wouldnt be worried. Most brands you can start at about 0.5ml per litre and work your way up gradually by about 0.25 ml every week.
That plant looks like a it has MG deficiency as the leaf veins are still a dark green colour and the rest of the leaf margin have been effected. That amount of MG in the micro is so little and considering you are not using the nutes at full strength , there is even less MG going into the feed. A cal/mg supplement would be the best solution to the problem here. Start it at 1/4 strength and gradually increase it weekly if needed.

@Grim Reefer glad you posted man. Yea i made the Chart way too weak, was just scared of burning because i was so unsure of hydro. I'll redesign it with week 1 quarter strength week 2 1/3 then creep it up.
And i'll call round and show him how to foliar feed some calmag to speed up recovery.
Thanks for helping out bro

No problem dude, glad i could help. Well you already knew what to do.
Yeah foliar feed would be the quickest solution to the problem.

Cheers merlin bro, yea its our first time using this system so the first grow with it is just about learning the set up. I'll throw an odd update of the wilma grow in here. And might even gully document the next grow when its more dialed in
