what is the best (biggest) yielding Purple auto strain "that any one has GROWN"?

I've grown a few very high yielding purple strains but they were not autos. I'm interested in the answer to your question as well. From my readings online most refer to the MI5, MI5xjem and purple Ryder. I have never grown them
Myself tho.

maybe you're really onto something with picking our own meds by eye recognition.... hmmmm i have to admit... th first time you mentione dit was a bit skeptic... but as i thought about it... it really fits nature's model... and now it seems to be perpetually reinforced every time i select something... hmmmm

I think theres a lot to this - both with canna and in life in general. The coloured plants jump out at me (like they do for many others) so not surprising to hear they are good pain and meds and Ill be interested too see how they go with eye pressure etc when I can. I've always loved and craved pineapple etc later to find they are good for my eye conditions so not surprising that my body has always told me to get into them. A canna example - at moment I have an MI5 and an unknown Short Stuff Mystery Pack outside - tasted a little of both. I was really looking forward to the MI5 at first as have heard lotsa good things about the strain and plus at moment its exciting to actually know what plants are what - but more and more the Unnamed one has been attracting me - not a particularly standout plant visually but a real peppery smell from a distance that draws me in. Now, Ill have to do more experimenting overtime with strains to see what does what exactly but gotta say the flashing lights I have constantly due to retina and other probs isnt seemingly as bad when consuming the "Pepper" - so it seemed my nose was letting me know early on what my body needs... Now I just gotta figure out what genes are involved with the peppery smell/taste and what other strains exhibit it...

Gotta say, Ive had Mauls JEM pic stuck in my head since seeing it so thats one my eyes are definetely telling me to get into. "Yes, eyes - we will be soon!"

ahh Sanctuary, always a beautiful place to hang out

oh... well thats a good one.... do you like hot peppers? is it that or green peppers? somewhere on here we have an article on capsacins and peppers and how theynhelp with pain and many other issues...

Nice one - Ill have to search for that. I cant get into the really hot peppers themselves but I like a bit of ground pepper - love capsicums too - this one is like a ground pepper. Smell is there from a distance but gets a little sweeter when close up - definetely has pepper taste and a lingering aftertaste though which is quite nice. Normally Im more of a sweet-tooth so have been thinking more along the lines of fruity type strains but now Im definetely gonna have to investigate the more spicey strains as well - terrible homework to have!!

Its hard to say for sure what effect exactly the smoke has on the sight in general and the flashing lights as theres lotsa variables but Ive noticed over time some types of smoke are better at reducing the flashing lights than others - so if I can hone in on those and also make sure still keeping the intra-ocular pressures down Ill be a very happy-chappy. As is it is I have more than enough different visual problems going on (still the only person I know who has constant double vision whilst only being able to kind of see out of one eye) - and the constant flashing lights are very offputting and quite a headfuck so anything I can do to relieve those is awesome and as I say, if I can hone in on such strains and hopefully help make them more available to those with similar eye complaints it would be brilliant.

Makes me sick that more research isnt going on to the multiple beneficial effects canna can have for those with eye probs - not just glaucoma but especially with the retina which has many many cannabanoid receptors in it. The current drugs/surgeries available for those probs are full of nasty side effects and risk etc etc so I really really hope common sense prevails and canna can be more studied and used in such circumstances cause again, it makes me sick to the stomach, knowing so many thousands of people go blind from glaucoma and retina problems (and the journey to going blind - especially with a constantly heamoraging retina which really fucks shit up) when they dont have too.

keep on breeding folks - cause ya never know what doors can be opened!

29 degrees, aye? Me and a friend were just discussing how they would do in that temperature. That's about as cold as it gets where I'm at...
