yeah, i wouldn't even consider the move, if i didn't do what i do.

fiscally speaking i think the spanish lie a lot, hide there money, then claim poverty, looking for more eu hand outs (i don't blame them for playing the system). most of the spanish i see all have nice new cars, or wearing some ponsey ben sherman shirt. i do think most are on the fiddle in someway. One of the first thing i was advised to do was to set up two sets of books.

We went down to Mar Menor..the sea is sheltered by a land bridge..
and all the old ladies were in the water clam digging..
bent over double with their skirts tucked into their knickers..

is that all it made you do.. some of the nora batty style cleaning clothes the old ladies wear can be a real turn on..

but..
when you look into the spanish tax system for business etc you understand why.
It is a nightmare.

The spanish tax man is not allowed to enter your home to make a tax evaluation..
and apparently..
if he sees you have put a coat of paint on..you are rich enough to afford more tax..
so you see a lot of buildings that look run down..
but if the gates are open..they are beautiful inside.

Yep, i live in a farming community, and when i first showed some pictures to friends they thought it was a shanty town, i told them they are farms so they have no render, and that most spanish in this area have at least one wall not rendered so they dont have to pay as much tax.


But you do have to love the 'a mans home is his castle' mentality. and yes the homes are always immaculately clean and beautiful inside.

i'm SO impressed with this girl...i just dropped the seed in soil and left the pot outdoors begining of april...no indoor light source...and she's looking really good.
Not a true auto tho and it's an arse taking her in each night and sticking her in a cupboard but hey...seems to be paying off
