plants look good teflon, so in ur pot do u have an air stone at the bottom? also curious about watering, with perlite being ur medium do u have a dripper set up, or do u just water with ur nutrient solution by hand?

I hand water. The solution bubbles up through the perlite. I have a hole about two inches below the root line. I water until I see it bubbling out the hole.

Let me clarify, the hole is two inches or so below the top of the perlite. It stays moist up to that point.

I am just getting started with the method. I am topping off the water daily.

Just a quick 'how do' before i disapear again into the abyss known only as 'my spare room' to crack on with the endless list of tasks that have been thrown my way...
Well...all my girls have gone into their big pots now
sch 1.jpgsch 2.jpgsch 3.jpg3 x SCH...the middle one is the one that got burnt a bit and is smaller than the other...but she's my favourite...gotta love an underdog...the 3rd one is one i just cut the bottom off the pot and sunk into the big pot to see what the diffrences are between this method and normal transplant...plus because i started them in a heavy pearlite mix it was an arse to try and move them over
