I have been looking for a good NL to use for a while. There aren't many pure lines avail on the market. I used to bee able to get my hands on some nice NL#5... Still my #1 on my best smokes list.. Amazing smoke.
I've been soo distracted by kush the last couple years, i don't even think about working much else. But if i got my hands on that NL5 again... I would LOVE to work it.

I am planning a trip to BC this summer. So i am going to beat on some doors to get some cuttings from the family out there.
 
I have NL5 here.. (photo) in veg stage... if it turns out fem.. i'll cross auto pollen to it... if it rturns out male... i'll cross to an auto... for sure! Love my NLs!
 
Yeah i have a pic of the NL5 i used to get.. We lost our cut to "rust" disease. It was supreme smoke. best of the best ever..lol.

I didn't ever try replacing it. So devastated by the loss.. That and we got into kush and haze around the same time. So we have good cuts to fill the gaps.

If it's legit NL5 you got.. cross it to SOME THING.. You'll be able to dig out some of the phenos from even one NL plant.. If it was me i'd use wiz's ALF's.. You'd stand the best chance of waking up those afghan phenos from the NL.

Now that i "think" i have what i need in the ALF#3, i am going to start up my purple kush and autoOG projects... I just dropped some of my purple kush seeds last night. So far every bean has been great. I plan to use a few good S1's and the clone only in the autoPK project. To really try and lock it down.. The quality of PK is 2nd only to NL5, so i am really curious what the auto genes are going to do to it.

I love all those little things, but with a helping of all the little things comes a big dose of crazy usually. My wife is hot and usually level headed but there's always that crazy that surfaces from time to time. Been an ongoing thing with pretty girls, but I like em' Hot so it just comes with the territory. If ya find a hot one that likes you, doesn't ask for "too" much, and is only a little crazy. MARRY HER ASAP! That's what I did.
Or find ya a semi-hot sane girl and marry her. Either way it's a win.
Or find ya an ugly one, that is completely logically, and thinks you are the best thing since sliced bread. Either she's a converted dude or AMAZING. Marry her and life is bliss, bc the hot factor wears off after only a year or so.

If by legit, you mean NL#5 from Dutch Passin... yes they're all legit... kindred spriit has (3) I think going? so we may have a male and a female... which would be ideal... make copies... and crosses

We also have NL5 x Haze... and a few "Garlic x OG Kush" which we'll be working the lines of as well.... from an old project on a garlic photo strain that hermied and took four centureies to flower! lol

Yeah, believe me, I know the deal...been with plenty of real HOT women... and they're nothing but frikin trouble IMO... 'll take a decent lookin sane girl any day over a super hot psycho!
I've analyzed this for years... my final determination is simple:

Hot women dont have to develop character cuz everyone kisses their ass.. later on they get pissed when that shit falls apart with their looks and turn into controlling bitches (if they weren't already)

But the not-so-attractive girls... have to develop character cuz they cant just ride on their looks... so they end up real cool...

just my theory...
anyway... for now... with grow ops and my state... I'm not taking any risks on!

im really enjoying the info and the history guys it really takes ya back and there is a good bit i didnt know about all of it.
going back and looking at those pics that were still there are a huge difference in what we see on the patio today.

Wiz you really have come a long way and i havent met to many people with that determination at all. That alone makes you
one of the best out there, along with the sharing you do, i think i know what you walk around in a bubble of karma now. Just have to say that i am honored
to be learning from not one of the best but THE best.
