Hello!
I'm completely new to all of this and I'm here to learn :)

Tent: 80x80x160cm
Lights: 2x250W cfl 6500k. 24/7
Other equipment: cirkulation, ventilation and carbon filter.
I have no measuring equipment of any kind. At least not yet.

9 litre pots
Medium: soil, coco and perlite ⅓ of each
Advanced nutrition; grow, micro and bloom

Strain: Purple Haze auto

So, here I have two little ones. They are now approximately 4 weeks old and I feel they are kinda small. My biggest mistake so far is under watering. I've been more generous with both watering and nutrition the past week.
I'm curious to see how this will work. Curious and impatient :woohoo:
And yeah, low budget project. I figured I might as well start here and learn and maybe upgrade something (lights?) later some time.
I do have a couple of cheap led lights from growing herbs in my kitchen, would it help if I added them to this setup? They are made for growing but I don't remember watt, only that they are ca 35cm long :confused1:

One more thing; I'm still learning this language so bear with me

Hi Sami,
This is a great place to learn, lots of great growers that just want to help others grow
Your plants are looking nice and healthy, I wouldn't say they are small at all.
Happy growing and :goodluck:

found ya! :pop: ppp

Ha, me too! I think they look great, Sami. Since I'm new myself, I've found my best investments were getting a pH pen, and the soil probe. I found out that my tap water was sitting at about 7.5, so I would have had some big problems with nute lockout if I didn't adjust that.

The soil probe also saved my butt, since it showed me that my soil pH was way too low from my use of Diatomaceous Earth for fungus gnats.

I'm sure upgrading the lights would help, but on the surface they seem to my untrained eye, to be sufficient. So I'd probably let that ride and look for a pH pen and soil probe if you have the spare cash.

Hello sami
I have the same tent size as you, your haze is looking good to me, my thinking is more light more means more food the plants can absorb seen as your running 24/7 i would say add them

Thank you :) Yeah I'm kinda prepared to buy things like that but so far I'll just watch the plants develop and learn from that. I don't want to mess with anything as long as it's working as it is.

Hi :) you have a point! I will add the extra light. I'm running the lights 24/7 just to give them as much lights as I can. And also I don't really know what's better, give them a few hours to "rest" in the dark or not.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the KISS philosophy. I'm trying my best to follow that myself, but being more the a little bit of a "Type A" personality, I can't stop my self from picking up stuff that will give me more data points as to the health of my plants.

And the end of the day it's a plant, and you'll likely end up getting something for your efforts no matter how many toys you have!

Iv never run 24/7 lights currently im on 20/4 i like to give a rest period as soon as lights go off i have to turn up extraction as it stinks anyone deal with this?

Lighting schedule is a big debate and all seems up to preference  there is even a sticky thread in the indoor section,
I'm at 18-6, its turned off during my peak electricity cost hours mid day, plus I'm used to growing outside and feel plants like a break
It's pretty crazy how much they dance under the sun, pics from the same day

Also staring outdoors, I haven't invested in any of the gadgets yet, still just tossing a seed in the dirt, now it's under a light instead
:goodluck:
