New Grower Saitoshi's first ever grow ! (RQS Royal Gorilla and Northern Light under LED)

@High'n'Dry Yes sir! I had the meter balanced on two of the pots but put it down when moving the plants around a bit for pics. It's already back on the pots. I'll find a nice way to hang it near the canopy in the coming days.

That's a bit on the colder side. I have to run my lights max for that and RH control. You got a way to add a little heat, any vents open? I'd be tempted to rotate both lights 90' with a bit of a gap, plant in the middle is getting double whammied. Lovely set up pal

Thanks !!
I have a little space heater I can put up there. Also the left light is only running 1/2 power atm and the right one only the veg switch, I could crank those up for a bit more heat (altho I'm a bit scared of light burn)

I'll be going to give them their first watering, 1.5L of ph'd water with 1/2 dose of the recommended biobizz nutes (according to the schedule on their website) in. I'll rotate the lights as well.

Hey guys,

I will have to replace one of my lights soon (it's borrowed) and since I can't sleep I've been looking at my options.

My budget is about 200€ and the light should cover half my tent (or two plants since I have no idea how good my King Led 1500W is, hopefully good enough for 1, 1.5 plant :p).

I also want to avoid any import fees so I have to order within the EU.

After some research I found these QB's:
HLG 135W QUANTUM BOARD KIT V2
ISH150 Pro - Horticultural lighting Kit powered by Samsung LM301B

The ISH150 would be a bit more expensive but it's 15W more and 3500K.
The HLG is only available in 4000K.

Or I could get a Mars Pro II Epistar 80 400w

So many options!!!

Any advice on which one is better for me ? Or any alternative suggestions ?

Thanks!:d5:

Either if those are good. I think there is an afn discount code for the Mars. It will add heat too if you are in a cooler climate.

Nice to see you started a journal!

Hey guys!

Not much has happened but I couldn't resist taking pictures :p.

Day 6 from seed,
Day 4 since they've been planted.

Temperature is between 24.3 and 25.2 °C.
RH is 55-60%.

And this is Lloyd, RQS Northern Light, he's a lil' bit smaller but has been planted 7 hours later.

Could you guys warn me if they're stretching too hard, I'm not really experienced enough to judge

@Dudeski Thanks ! I'll probably go with the Invisible Sun one after contest results, @Invisible Sun LED also gave me a great discount (Cheers mate!) and QB's sound so interesting.
@High'n'Dry I've already entered ^^!

Hey guys,

Two of my babies look perfectly fine (I think) but the middle one is tipping over :( Anything I should be worried about ? If so, how could I fix it ?
You can clearly see it on the 3rd picture. (Sorry for the burlple pics, I kinda panicked and quickly took pics, ran downstairs and came to post here.)

Thanks!

Edit: Roomtemp 24.4 - 26.5 °C & RH 55-70%

Edit2: I propped it up with some soil, hopefully that's enough

Hey guys, update today.

I've just ordered a ISH260 PRO from Invisible Sun LED , can't wait until it arrives :D

My girls are 8 days old today.
RH 55-70%
Temp 26-28.9°C (I'll have to find a way to lower temps a bit no ? Would adding a fan help ? It's my humidifier that produces alot of heat, temps will probably drop a bit once new light is here)

They had 2 waterings so far, 2x 1L PH'd water and one of those was with biobizz nutes (1/2th of recommended dose for all-mix)

Wanted to ask about your opinion if they looked ok, the leaves look a bit off, raised my lights a bit, didn't help, waiting with next watering until soil's very dry.

All advice is much appreciated !

And the Northern Light (leaves look alot better here compared to the Gorilla's, that's why I think it's a light issue ?)

Thanks for reading!

I think you're all good buddy :pass:Looking nice and green

Different strains will start differently and they're still finding their feet. The 265 you ordered? That's a nice light and should help with temps but everything is fine for now. As your plants grow RH will increase so you can lose the humidifier down the line :d5:
